I opened the double doors, which were a bit larger than usual, and stepped into the inn. There was no lighting installed yet, but the windows hadn’t been fitted, so natural light from outside shone brightly. The large windows, designed for the dining hall, illuminated the interior well.

“It’s spacious, isn’t it?” Familia murmured in surprise. Kusala also gazed at the walls and high ceiling, letting out a voice of admiration.

“Wow! It’s really this spacious!?” Kusala’s voice echoed through the room. Smiling, I glanced around lightly. There were doors leading to the stairs and toilets, and a counter was installed that could open as a bar.

After thoroughly examining the dining hall, I pointed to the back of the room.

“We’ll make tables and chairs later. Oh, we should prepare lighting soon. And maybe the kitchen next. Let’s take a look.”

Saying that, I opened the door at the back. Beyond it was a corridor: the kitchen on the right and stairs down to the basement on the left. Since the basement was an empty storage area for now, we headed right.

Inside the kitchen was a professional setup like those seen on TV. It looked like a kitchen where about ten people could work simultaneously.

“We’ll prepare cooking utensils later too. Finally, the guest rooms, I guess.”

Leading the way, I returned to the dining hall and went upstairs. The stairs and hallways were made spacious. On the second floor were single rooms, while the third floor had rooms large enough for three people—two types in total.

All rooms had wooden flooring and their own toilets. By the way, most inns in this world don’t have baths. Public baths or large communal baths are rare.

However, this inn was equipped with showers.

“We don’t have running water or hot water yet, but we’re working on it. Soon, we’ll be able to provide enough water for basic washing.”

After explaining how to use the shower, Pluriel’s eyes lit up as she spoke.

“Depending on the price, this inn will always be fully booked!”

“Definitely. Adventurers living in this town aside, anyone coming here for dungeon or Seato Village errands will need a place to stay. Plus, those coming back from the dungeon probably have some spare money.”

Ort agreed with Pluriel’s words. Nodding lightly, I shared my next plan.

“After this, I’m thinking of building a public bathhouse next door. People staying at the inn might use it too.”

“Public bathhouse? Like the one next to the lord’s manor in Seato Village?”

“Yeah, exactly. It’ll be a bit smaller than that one.”

Answering Kusala, I formed ideas in my mind. The bathhouse in Seato Village had been expanded significantly as the population increased. The bathing fee was also cheap.

However, the adventurer town probably doesn’t need something that big. Since they don’t return for several days after going to the dungeon, and they’re away for long periods on escort or bandit hunting missions.

Therefore, the number of adventurers constantly in town is probably around 300 to 500. Apparently, about a thousand adventurers use Seato Village as their base, but they won’t all be using the bathhouse at once.

So, I thought to create a cozy bathhouse, like a super public bathhouse, designed comfortably. It should accommodate about fifty men and fifty women each.

“There’s also the Bell Rango Trading Company’s store, but there’ll be blacksmiths, carpenters, and tailors, right? Personally, I’d like a bakery and a cake shop too, but that depends on whether we can find people who can do those.”

“I see.”

When talking about the adventurer town, Ort and the others nodded, though maybe not fully understanding.

Well, in my head, the main street was already envisioned as a shopping district lined with stores.

“Alright, we’re busy. First, let’s finish the inn.”
