“Eh, fifty is fine. If it were platinum coins, then five.”
I tilted my head in response to Pluriel’s double-check. At that moment, Kusala pressed her palm over Pluriel’s mouth. She sealed it with such force that a sound was made, causing Pluriel to let out a strange noise and roll away.
“Fifty! Fifty gold coins, please!”
“Y-Yeah. Pluriel, are you okay?”
“Yay! I’m going to make it the best inn in the world!”
Kusala jumped up in joy. Pluriel glared at the back of Kusala’s head while holding her face with one hand, but Kusala didn’t notice.
As Kusala celebrated wildly, Ort spoke with a worried expression.
“With a place this big, you’re going to have to hire quite a few employees, right? Cleaning alone might take a day or two?”
“I’ll polish it every day myself!”
Ignoring Ort’s concerns, Kusala replied carefree. I gave a light piece of advice.
“The adventurers staying in this town seem to be earning well, so I think it’s okay to set slightly higher prices. Use the revenue to hire cleaning staff. It’d be better if you hired proper people like a luxury hotel to give a good impression.”
After saying that, I realized my plan would require a hefty initial investment.
“Anyway, I might lend you the initial costs. As for the employees, should we start recruiting?”

Kusala stammered in response to my question. At that moment, a voice came from the street.

Turning around at the words, standing there was a beautiful woman with long, deep brown hair gently swaying — Familia. Familia squinted her usual sleepy eyes and smiled softly.
“Lord Van, my husband is always indebted to you.”
“Familia. What brings you here?”
Startled by her sudden appearance, I asked that. Familia then looked at Kusala.
“Yes. Apparently, my husband has understood my feelings and is trying to earn a living through business rather than adventuring…”
After Familia said this, Kusala struck her chest with her hand and nodded deeply.

To Kusala’s words, Familia smiled apologetically and shook her head.
“No, that’s not it. I wanted to leave behind the harsh battles and live a peaceful life together. So, rather than a grand establishment, I’d be content if we could manage a small shop together…”

Familia said apologetically and bowed deeply. The gathered adventurers and some merchants all turned their eyes to me at once.
