Chapter 2030: Su City 🏙️

Published: February 12, 2025

The Su Clan occupies an entire city called Su City.

Due to their unique racial characteristics, this city is naturally filled with various formations.

It is rumored outside that within Su City, there are as many as 220,000 defensive formations of all sizes and 170,000 attacking formations. This does not include the formations that Su Clan members can deploy at any time in the event of war.

Half of these formations are concentrated at the city walls, creating a comprehensive defense system that integrates offense and defense, as well as the elements of heaven and earth.

The other half is distributed throughout the city, with about a quarter of the formations located in the core area of Su Tower, where the clan leader, ancestral hall, and direct descendants reside.

Just these formations alone are enough to deter any race in the universe from making a rash move.

Even more terrifying is the rumor that once the breach rate of these formations exceeds fifty percent, a super formation hidden within the city called "Ascend" will activate. This is the ultimate secret of the Su Clan and the foundation of their existence in the entire universe.

Among the Lena People, a recognized tactical master once said after visiting Su City, “To breach this city, it would likely require the deaths of ten million excellent warriors from the All Races of the Universe. To occupy this city would require the price of thirty million excellent warriors. If you don’t want so many people to die, at least ten super experts must die to reduce the casualty rate by half.”

No one doubts the words of this tactical master. Therefore, while some may not take the Su Clan seriously, no one dares to lay their eyes on Su City.

Because even now, no race possesses thirty million excellent warriors!

What is an excellent warrior? It refers to those exceeding twenty thousand in fuleira.

Even if all races in the universe joined forces to attack here, the Su Clan could instill fear in every participant because this city can downgrade the attacking races.

From super clans to major clans, from major clans to medium races, and from medium races to... extinction.

Yes, in such large-scale wars, once medium and lower races participate, extinction is inevitable.

The Su Clan has actually been stagnant for many years; their personality and style of handling affairs have also led them to engage in minimal commercial activities and pillaging. They have essentially been slowly regressing.

Yet even so, the two super clans leading the factions have not truly dealt with the Su Clan, and even those races sheltered by the Su Clan, while generally living average lives, do not face significant problems.

All of this must be attributed to the city itself.

This city, which has gathered the hard work of countless generations of Su Clan members, has become a benchmark and symbol of the race.

Of course, to maintain the status and operation of such a city, the costs the Su Clan pays every year and even every day are enormous.

These hundreds of thousands of formations are not all activated at all times; maintaining the most basic defensive formation consumes a significant amount of Moon Age Gold every moment.

Why can the Su Clan have such an advantage yet still not build a second Su City? It's simply because the consumption is something they cannot afford.

Maintaining this city has already put tremendous pressure on them.

Ye Zhongming knew before he arrived that this was a city that had never been attacked.

Many years have passed since the construction of the Survivor Fortress, during which numerous major events and upheavals have occurred, including wars that affected all fortresses.

Yet there has never been a time when anyone dared to provoke Su City.

As Ye Zhongming looked down at the city approaching, a ridiculous thought suddenly crossed his mind.

All races fear the might of Su City’s formations and do not dare to move a single soldier against it, so if one day this city were to fall into war... could it withstand the test?
