This is a very strange scene. Qin Ru saw Jannadrah, saw little luo zhen, and also saw himself. However, he discovered that his battle beast seemed unable to see its opponent, still snarling as it moved forward, even though everything was still playing out in slow motion.
Was it the reason that little luo zhen was blinded?
But why hadn’t his battle beast conveyed this negative status to him? After all, he and it were truly in sync. If that were the case, then there could only be one explanation... In little luo zhen's eyes, Jannadrah was still there.
Qin Ru transmitted the information to little luo zhen, who stopped in anger, constantly scanning the surroundings for the position his master had told him, but there was nothing there.
“Useless, it can't see me; only evolvers are able to see me.” Jannadrah's voice echoed in this starry sky.
“The breaking of the Return-to-Burial Law Pearl made me think I would lose many things, but that’s how the world is. As long as one makes some appropriate compromises and gives up some principles one originally intended to uphold, everything will be different. You Chinese have a saying: ‘the peak twists and turns,’ right? That’s how it is.”
Jannadrah’s body kept moving in the air, causing even with Qin Ru’s indications, little luo zhen to fall into a state of agitation and rage.
This stellar prophet seemed to be reflecting on something, or perhaps experimenting with something.
At that moment, Qin Ru felt some regret. If he hadn’t piled all his resources onto little luo zhen, perhaps today wouldn't be so hopeless. Ninety percent of his strength rested with the battle beast, and once it lost its effectiveness, as an evolver, there was very little he could do.
He took out something that was as thick as his arm—a firecracker—and lit it, producing a grand display of fireworks.
However, the brilliant fireworks not only failed to provide Qin Ru with a way out but instead deepened his despair.
The fireworks exploded normally, without any influence whatsoever.
“Is it certain whether this is real or false?” Jannadrah's light laughter came through, “It seems this place is even stronger than the burial barrier. This is my new Return-to-Burial Law Pearl combined with my profession. What do you think?”
Sweat broke out on Qin Ru's forehead; he was at a loss, growing ever more desperate.
Just moments ago, when facing Wen Yan, even if he couldn't win, he could still fight desperately. But now, facing Jannadrah, he didn’t even have the chance to fight back.
“It seems you cannot break my starry barrier, which I obtained through my life and dignity. Then, let’s end this.”
Qin Ru felt every hair on his body stand on end at those words; he was about to face a lethal attack.
“Chapter Two of Starry Language, Falling Star.”
A shining star rapidly approached, rolling in from afar. Qin Ru wanted to run, but his legs wouldn't move. The star was too large, large enough that even if he could teleport, he wouldn’t be able to escape its reach.
Many images flashed through Qin Ru's mind, many faces, and ultimately, everything transformed into the tender face of his son.
A massive pain surged through him, but Qin Ru felt nothing. Tears welled up in his eyes, and only at this moment did he realize that his son had ultimately passed away. What he thought could replace him was not him after all.
The star disappeared, the starry sky faded, and on the ground of the space lay two corpses. On the surface, they seemed unharmed, but inside their heads had been completely crushed.
Jannadrah stood beside them, laughing heartily.
The saint from West Asia had slain the fifteenth-ranked individual in the national power rankings.

Alamos was nearly driven mad.
Previously, he was with Pamek, and who would have thought when the space shifted, he would have to face everything alone? But seeing the heavily injured Li Daqian in front of him, he thought it wasn't unacceptable.
