Chapter 1158: Rebirth 🌟

The body of Red Hair immediately radiated a dazzling light, illuminating the entire Lava Sea as if it were transparent.

If the Holy Father had not departed at this moment, he would have witnessed the Lava Sea, which was initially bubbling slowly, completely lose control. Not only did it generate shockwaves resembling ocean waves, but a large amount of magma surged toward the shore. Among the sea, several columns of magma erupted, shooting straight into the sky, reaching several dozen meters high.

The dark clouds that had previously disappeared reappeared, but after witnessing these towering magma fountains, they obediently left again. The temperature of the magma had already exceeded the limits that many lifeforms could withstand.

The entire Lava Sea erupted wildly.

Even the ground began to tremble slightly, as if gathering some kind of power.

Under the sea, after the explosion of light, the strange fish's flesh and blood on Red Hair's body vanished, and the pearl that had been spat out from the belly of the King Fish also disappeared, while the King Fish itself seemed to have exhausted its strength, floating above Red Hair.

The now-mummified body of Red Hair suddenly moved, causing the lifeless King Fish to become tense and attentive.

Red Hair's movements grew increasingly vigorous, knocking the metal hammer that had been placed nearby onto the ground.

Then, the mummified substance that had been expelled by the strange fish began to crack open, starting from the feet, then the chest, arms, legs, and finally the head.

Once these substances completely cracked and fell to the ground, a female figure slowly sat up from the metallic platform.

She lowered her head, her face obscured, even her profile hidden by a mass of red hair. She appeared weary, resting her hands on the metallic platform in silence.

The King Fish's eyes brightened, circling around the woman, emitting short cries as if calling out or expressing affection.

"Thank you," the woman said as she lifted her head, revealing Red Hair's signature stunningly beautiful face. She raised her hand and gently stroked the King Fish's head.

Seeing Red Hair awaken brought immense joy to the King Fish, which obediently allowed her to caress it, even as its body continued to sway.

"I understand now. My life has half of yours. Thank you for your sacrifice. When I leave, I will take your kin with me and find a better habitat for your descendants, ensuring they will not remain in this crumbling world, and guaranteeing their survival for generations to come."

The woman and the fish communicated in this magical manner, and the King Fish finally landed on the ground, having lost the strength to swim in the lava.

"This hammer?" Red Hair bent down to pick up the metallic hammer from the ground, examining it but unable to discern its significance.

"Just right, perhaps I know who needs it the most. I will deliver it to him for you."

Red Hair squatted before the King Fish, her hand still stroking this life that was about to pass away.

"Don't worry, he is very good. Before you granted me this life, my life belonged to him."

"My place? Well, it's okay, but it has changed. However, rest assured, your descendants will not be disturbed. You are so formidable, able to live in lava; who could possibly harm you?"

"I will go see them."

"Thank you, big fish."

Red Hair opened her arms and embraced the King Fish. The eighth-level lifeform flicked its tail once, brushing against Red Hair's body before it ceased moving.

After a long while, Red Hair released the King Fish and slowly stood up. Compared to before, she was now slightly taller, and aside from her striking red hair, there was nothing left that resembled a corpse; she was entirely human, the most beautiful human.

Of course, Red Hair’s bones and her body surely contained magical elements.

She looked at the lifeless King Fish and spread her arms. Suddenly, a pair of semi-transparent wings adorned with beautiful red patterns unfolded from her elegant back. The edges of these wings featured a sturdy bony framework capable of supporting their enormity.
