Chapter 90: The Powerful Magic Peach

After arranging everything in the castle, Zhao Hai and Merlin headed to Rubble Mountain. Although there wasn't much going on there at the moment, they still planned to spend considerable time there recently because Galen was there, and they were waiting for Laura.

Zhao Hai had another matter to attend to at Rubble Mountain—he wanted to uncover the identity of Zhao Qian's backer.

Zhao Qian had suddenly attacked them, and until now, there hadn’t been any clues. The existence of the person behind Zhao Qian posed a significant threat to them, which is why Zhao Hai was eager to find out who that person was.

Then there was Zhao Zui and his group’s backer. It was evident that the force behind them was quite powerful, which intensified Zhao Hai's desire to know who they were. If such people could not be investigated, they would always remain a threat to Zhao Hai, like a bomb that could explode at any moment.

To investigate these matters, staying in the Black Earth Wilderness wouldn’t work. After all, the spatial area now had a teleportation point, which allowed Zhao Hai to move back and forth easily, just like going from the front yard to the backyard of his own home. He could stay there without any issues.

In fact, if he were to choose, Zhao Hai preferred to be in the space. There, he could see the situation at Rubble Mountain and Iron Mountain Fortress through screens. Moreover, the villa in the space even had hot springs, and he could hear voices on the screen, eliminating the need for him to run back and forth.

However, Zhao Hai still took Meg and Merlin to check on Rubble Mountain. After confirming that nothing unusual was happening there, he brought the two back to the villa in the space.

Once back at the villa, Zhao Hai took stock of what he had left. He first looked outside; apart from ten acres of nut oil trees growing, the remaining eight acres had been planted with two acres of cucumbers, two acres of peas, two acres of pumpkins, and two acres of radishes. This was Zhao Hai’s last two acres of radishes planted, but since they were sown after the space upgrade, he had already reserved seeds from these radishes. He wanted to see how many radish seeds could be produced from one acre, but obviously, the radishes reserved for seeds matured much later than those intended for harvest. Twelve hours had already passed, yet the seed radishes were still not ready for harvest.

Zhao Hai glanced at the growing crops and decided not to dwell on them. They would grow regardless of whether he watched them or not. He wasn’t going to keep staring at them. Sitting in the living room of the villa, with the screen displaying the situation at the castle, he then opened his warehouse page to check what seeds he had left. Upon looking, he found quite a few seeds in his warehouse: some nut oil tree seeds, corn seeds, wheat seeds, rice bamboo seeds, red fruit tree saplings, thorny vines, thorny grass seeds, and even a bag of magic peach seeds...

Wait, magic peach seeds? What’s this? How come I didn’t know I had these? Zhao Hai moved his hand, and a small bag appeared in his hand. As soon as he held the bag, he heard the space prompt sound: “Magic Peach, a miraculous magical crop, level 10. The bag contains two seeds, each capable of growing one magic peach tree. Each magic peach tree occupies one acre of land and can produce one magic peach. The tree yields crops twice a year. The peach flesh can heal wounds and instantly restore the mage's magic power. The magic peach pit can summon a pet, with no restrictions on type or level. To use the magic peach pit, one must drop blood to recognize ownership. Once recognized, it cannot be changed. Magic peaches cannot be reserved for seeds and are exclusive to the space; they cannot be taken outside for use!”

Zhao Hai listened in a daze to this prompt, which had the most rules out of all the plants he had obtained, yet it was also the one that shocked him the most.
