Chapter 155: The Magic Peach Healing Wounds
As soon as Galen entered the space, a mouthful of fresh blood spewed out. Zhao Hai and Grandma Merlin were stunned and quickly rushed over to support Galen.
Galen's face was pale, but fortunately, he was still conscious. Zhao Hai supported Galen and asked, "Grandpa Galen, are you okay?"
Galen glanced at Zhao Hai and weakly replied, "Young master, don't worry, I'm not dead yet, but a ninth-level expert is beyond my current capability to resist."
There were no visible wounds on Galen's body, nor did it seem like any bones were broken. However, Grandma Merlin noticed that Galen had suffered injuries to his meridians.
If it were just a flesh wound or a bone injury, it wouldn't be a big deal; he could recover with some rest. But if his meridians were injured, it could be severe, potentially causing lasting damage that would prevent him from ever returning to his peak condition.
Just as Zhao Hai was about to say something, Galen urged him, "Young master, hurry to Iron Mountain Fortress and bring everyone back immediately. Pack everything up, and all the undead beings must be recalled right away. The Versailles Family will definitely send someone there, and this time it might even be Buffy himself."
Zhao Hai was taken aback and hadn't reacted yet, but Grandma Merlin had already realized the urgency. She quickly said to Zhao Hai, "Young master, go quickly! A ninth-level expert's speed is incredibly fast. If Buffy discovers anything, we will be in big trouble."
After hearing Grandma Merlin, Zhao Hai nodded immediately and said to her, "Grandma Merlin, I leave Grandpa Galen in your care. Meg, Wood, follow me quickly." The three responded and followed Zhao Hai to Iron Mountain Fortress.
With a flash of their figures, they appeared in Iron Mountain Fortress. Wood and the others immediately went to organize the slaves, enabling them to enter the space in the shortest time possible.
Meanwhile, Zhao Hai was busy collecting various items inside Iron Mountain Fortress. There was a lot more to gather now, enough to keep him occupied for a while. First, he started with the oil press, then moved on to the grinding stones, followed by the rabbits, and finally the people from the canyon.
Zhao Hai did not remove the sprouted corn seedlings; he let them grow naturally. After all, Buffy might not even notice the corn seedlings, and even if he did, he wouldn't be able to find them.
It took Zhao Hai about a day to finish collecting everything. Afterward, he sent the undead beings into the castle to cause some destruction before recalling them back into the space.
The slaves also had a considerable amount of belongings to pack. Although they were mostly worthless items, the slaves seemed very attached to them and were reluctant to discard anything.
Zhao Hai was at a loss with them. He worked through the night, and it wasn't until the early hours of the next day that he managed to pack everything up. The castle looked just as dilapidated as before.
Seeing the situation, Zhao Hai couldn't help but grit his teeth in anger. He never expected that their second time taking refuge in the space would be due to humans rather than magical beasts.
However, they soon felt a sense of relief. Not long after they entered the space, a figure appeared at Iron Mountain Fortress. It was Buffy, shocking Zhao Hai and the others who had been keeping an eye on the fortress. This was their first real understanding of a ninth-level expert's power.
The journey from Iron Mountain Fortress to Casa City, under normal circumstances, would take nearly a month. Even for Zhao Hai and the others, traveling in an altered body would take about half a month, and that was without sleep.
Yet, Buffy covered the distance in just over half a day, showcasing his incredible speed.
What shocked Zhao Hai the most was that Buffy was not walking; he was flying, truly soaring through the air without any assistance.
Zhao Hai stared in astonishment at this scene while Grandma Merlin, sitting beside him, said with a grim expression, "The greatest characteristic of a ninth-level expert is their ability to fly in space. That's why they are called Demigods. Buffy has been at the ninth level for over ten years now, and among ninth-level experts, he is quite formidable. Moreover, it seems he isn't just here for us. Young master, you should let Zhao Zui and the others be cautious; Buffy may enter the Corpse Swamp."
