CHAPTER 65: Using a Knife to Kill Someone
“Boss, what should we do?” Dong Wushang asked softly.
Chu Yang pondered for a moment and said, “I have never asked what that ninth-level spirit beast is. But from what we see today, that thing is very important to the Dream Clan. Moreover, it is probably useful to all the families. Otherwise, that old man wouldn’t have said, ‘Even if we all risk our lives.’”
Both Dong Wushang and Ji Mo nodded. There were quite a few throne experts in every family of the Middle Three Heavens. But to say they could be sacrificed at will… that would be a huge mistake!
Because these families were essentially supported by the throne; the Imperial Throne acted as their backing. As for anything higher, it was beyond their knowledge.
“Since there’s nothing else, Wushang, you might as well talk about this matter,” Chu Yang said.
Dong Wushang nodded, saying, “Boss, there’s a legend you must know. This Nine Heavens originally had nine major races; we humans are just one of them. And the cultivation technique Dreamfall practices is clearly the legacy of the Demon Clan, referred to as demon technique.”
“As for the Beast Clan, they originally existed as well; today’s spirit beasts are merely remnants of the original Beast Clan’s bloodline. However, they are far from their former status and rarely take on human forms… In fact, the legacy of the Beast Clan has essentially disappeared in the Middle Three Heavens.”
