Chapter 3: Relationships
As the class teacher walked out of the classroom, the other students instinctively looked towards the two class monitors in the front row.
There was no helping it; after all, they were the class monitor and the Martial Cultivation representative.
Seeing this, the two students also stood confidently. They walked up to the platform, which immediately caught the attention of many male students, as the female class monitor was quite beautiful.
"My name is Lin Xue. As the class monitor of Class 3, I hope everyone can actively cooperate with our class tasks in the future."
After speaking, the girl named Lin Xue scanned everyone in the room. There was an inexplicable strong aura about her that made many students dare not meet her gaze.
At this moment, another male student smiled and said, "Hello everyone, my name is Yin Rui. For the next semester, I will be in the same class as all of you."
"I hope we can help each other and work together to have a wonderful first semester."
"Now, we need to go pick up the learning materials, and we need some students to help out. I wonder which of you would be willing to lend a hand?"
"I will."
"I'm going too."
"Count me in..."
After Yin Rui finished speaking, many male classmates stood up enthusiastically, clearly eager to help.
The first year of high school is indeed a wonderful age, and although Lin Xue had a slightly aloof demeanor and a strong presence, her beauty made her stand out.
Soon, six boys and one girl volunteered to contribute to the class and followed the two out of the classroom.
At this moment, a boy in the front row, Chen Chu, clicked his tongue and said, "They just decided on the class monitor and Martial Cultivation representative without even asking their names. I bet there must be some kind of behind-the-scenes deal here."
"A behind-the-scenes deal? Is it really just for a class monitor?" Chen Chu was somewhat surprised.
The boy in front turned around and said meaningfully, "Classmate, you're underestimating the class officers in high school. These two positions are not that simple."
After saying that, the boy grinned and introduced himself, "Hi, bro, my name is Xia Youhui. I studied at Experimental Middle School No. 3, and you?"
"Chen Chu, I came from Lingshan No. 1 High School," Chen Chu replied briefly.
"Lingshan No. 1 High School? That place has nice scenery. I visited it once."
Chen Chu looked at this honest-looking boy and asked curiously, "Xia, is there a difference between class officers in high school and middle school?"
"The difference is quite significant." Xia Youhui said enviously, "According to national regulations, everyone can learn true martial arts in high school, but you have to know that there are dozens of students in a class and one or two thousand in a grade."
"In this situation, the true martial arts teachers definitely can't pay attention to every student, and classes often have dozens or even hundreds of students together."
"At this time, the status of class monitors becomes prominent. As class officers, they can find reasons to consult the teachers individually."
"When the teachers give some tips on cultivation techniques and personal experiences, itโs enough for them to gradually pull ahead of the other students."
"The better their grades, the more attention they receive from the school and even the authorities, along with resource allocation. Once they get ahead, they will continue to advance."
"I see." Chen Chu realized why the boy in front had mentioned insider dealings.
It was indeed strange that the class teacher directly appointed those two students without even asking for their names.
At this moment, Xia Youhui lowered his voice and said, "Thatโs not all. I heard that high school martial arts class officers receive contribution point rewards every month."
"Contribution points? What are those?" Chen Chu asked, puzzled, as he indeed had no knowledge of this.
Xia Youhui shook his head, "It's an important resource for cultivating martial arts. I heard it from my brother, who told me to seize any opportunities to earn some in high school."
