Four Evolutions, Dual Pupils Phenomenon

In the afternoon, before school ended, Chen Chu and Luo Fei arrived at Pang Long’s office after receiving the notification.

"There are currently fifteen applicants for the Exotic Beast Battlefield, including you two, all new students this term, who have been preparing for this for a while now," Pang Long said.

"The assembly time is set for Sunday."

"I will be departing with you, but I'm heading to the frontline battlefield."

Upon hearing this, Chen Chu couldn't help but ask curiously, "Teacher, the frontline battlefield you mentioned is in the mythical world, right?"

Pang Long smiled, "What? Are you curious about that place?"

Both Chen Chu and Luo Fei nodded in agreement.

Pang Long continued, "It is a vast, boundless world, rich in extraordinary resources. Over the years, we humans have been expanding our territories there."

"However, as we explore and expand into that world, conflicts have arisen between humans and many creatures."

"There are terrifying behemoths that seem to belong to myths, bizarre and inexplicable monsters, and powerful alien civilizations. Therefore, in recent years, the main military forces of various countries have been focused there."

"The strong are countless there, and terrifying battles occur every day, with massive consumption of ammunition and supplies. Weapons of mass destruction like hydrogen bombs are often used on the front lines."

"There are even more destructive weapons than nuclear arms; once deployed, they can annihilate all living beings within a hundred-mile radius, and even ninth level experts cannot survive."

"In addition, there are battlefields for those above the king level, where a wave of the hand can cause landslides, and where one can fly and teleport, it’s truly terrifying..."

Just as Pang Long mentioned this, he stopped. Chen Chu urged, "Teacher, what else?"

"That's all," Pang Long laughed. "According to the rules, I can't tell you any more detailed information. If you want to know more, you need to become stronger quickly, and you’ll naturally find out."

"This old Pang is really keeping us in suspense," Chen Chu thought as he walked out of the teaching building.

Luo Fei chuckled lightly at his words.

Regarding this matter, Chen Chu felt somewhat yearning: "Mythical behemoths, terrifying monsters, and other civilizations. I never expected that world to be so vast and extraordinary."

"But Old Pang said that nuclear and hydrogen bombs are often used there. Aren't they afraid of nuclear radiation?"

Luo Fei softly replied, "Nuclear radiation only has a strong effect on the genes of ordinary creatures. Once a creature has mutated, its body becomes incredibly strong, and its genes stabilize."

"Moreover, mutated creatures at a high level possess powerful extraordinary abilities, isolating themselves from external damage, including radiation. So radiation isn't much of a problem for high-level creatures."

"That makes sense," Chen Chu nodded.

At this moment, the girl tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and said softly, "In the next few days, I might need to prepare for something and won't be coming to school. See you on Sunday."

"Okay, see you on Sunday."

After parting ways, Chen Chu returned home at five o'clock, where Chen Hu was already back.

Chen Chu unplugged the cable from the cold chain truck and shouted inside, "Ah Hu, I'm going to deliver Thunder Eel Meat; I'll be back later, so don't wait for me to eat."

"Oh, okay, brother," Chen Hu replied from inside the house.

A few days ago, while moving the mutated beef into the freezer, Chen Chu mentioned that he would be going to the Exotic Beast Battlefield for a long time.

This Thunder Eel would not be consumed by Chen Hu and the others at home, so he would find a buyer and sell it instead.

With a hum, the cold chain transport truck started and slowly drove out of the yard, following the navigation through Mist River, heading towards Lin Chuan.

An hour and a half later, Chen Chu arrived again at the coastal road by the river mouth.
