The Devourer did not head straight towards the Demon Palace. As a scavenger of the Sea of Lava, its operational hours were long each time it ventured out. The Devourer meandered through the Sea of Lava, continuously clearing away the Variant Soul Puppets in its way. Those inside the Devourer enjoyed a sightseeing tour of the Sea of Lava. It was only after a week had passed that the lake within the Devourer had expanded to at least three times its original size. Finally, the Devourer completed its task and swayed its tail, heading straight towards the core of the demon realm profile.

As they got closer to the Demon Palace, the Variant Soul Puppets in the Sea of Lava grew denser. Among them were even variants that had not been seen before. However, in the face of the Devourer's enormous size and overwhelming power, these Variant Soul Puppets still fared poorly. Occasionally, a few brave ones would challenge the Devourer, only to be obliterated in an instant.
And so, three more days passed.

The black light was extremely brief, and the next second, the Devourer's body immediately shrank from the size of a world-devouring serpent to less than a meter long, resembling a small loach, and then it passed straight through the opening.
