"Thank you to the great love of 8888 and other brothers."
Before entering the secret realm, Ye Zhongming was a four-star evolver. However, he had been using modified potions, so his real strength was only slightly less than that of a five-star evolver. Coupled with his profession and skills, he would not be at a disadvantage against ordinary level five beings.
But after entering the secret realm, his strength was forcibly suppressed by one level, allowing him to only exert around four-star strength, comparable to the fourth-level posthumous children like Kano, Dino, and Afo.
After they consumed Evolution Potions, their strength had increased slightly. Excluding factors like weapons and equipment, Ye Zhongming had already fallen behind by half a level in raw strength.
However, after learning the blazing flame combat technique this time, he surprisingly found that the suppression of his strength in the secret realm had disappeared.
Ye Zhongming understood that this suppression was not only applied to him; everyone who came from Earth would be affected. If it weren't for the suppression, Han Yihao and his wife’s Blue Bay Battle Team would not have suffered such a humiliating defeat when they entered the secret realm.
Yet, that couple had been in the secret realm much longer than Ye Zhongming, and they were still under suppression with no signs of loosening. Ye Zhongming discussed this issue with the first three people he met upon his return.
Clearly, the reason for Ye Zhongming’s suppression disappearing was linked to his training in the blazing flame combat technique, possibly combined with the great thousand soul refining technique.
Why did the suppression disappear after training in the secret techniques of the secret realm? Could it be that... the magical place of the secret realm felt he had become one of its own rather than an outsider from another space?
This thought sent a thrill through Ye Zhongming.
If the secret techniques learned in the secret realm could allow him to be recognized, could it be said that, to some extent, he had escaped the control of the roulette?
Ye Zhongming thought quickly and concluded that there was only one way to validate his hypothesis... he decided to give it a try.
The first small flying demon monster introduced to Ye Zhongming by the posthumous children was called the needle bird demon monster. It was a tiny creature the size of a fist. Despite its small size, half of its body was occupied by a sharp hard beak at the front. The magic crystal on its forehead also took up half of its body, making it look quite peculiar.
Ye Zhongming and Miya observed for a while nearby, hesitating as they exchanged glances.
Although the needle bird demon monsters were not very high in level (most were level one, with a few at level two and very few at level three), their numbers were overwhelming, to the extent that it made one’s scalp tingle.
From the groups of needle bird demon monsters taking flight, Ye Zhongming estimated that there were at least twenty thousand of these little demons inhabiting the woods!
The concept of twenty thousand meant that even a small number of level twos would add up to several thousand, and a very small number of level threes would mean hundreds. This did not even account for the strong level fours and the potential level fives that could be among the needle birds.
If they were startled, Ye Zhongming would face an overwhelming attack!
"How about we check out the Timi insects instead?" Miya said, feeling a bit retreating. The needle birds were not even on the posthumous children’s menu, so they did not pay much attention to them. However, seeing the level and numbers of these creatures made it clear that even if they could be eaten, no posthumous child tribe would target such creatures. Even the large tribes of the Royal City would find it not worth the trouble.
Just imagine: killing all these creatures would yield little meat and would likely cost many lives. No one would make such a loss-making deal.
