On Earth, although Ye Zhongming had obtained many good things, his resources were always in a tight state. He not only needed to improve his own strength but also had to take care of the subordinates at Cloud Summit Villa to a certain extent.
Therefore, ever since he obtained the Gate of Sacrifice, Ye Zhongming had only made a sacrifice once, and it was just a first-level sacrifice that had recently accumulated enough energy. Of course, the benefits he gained from it were substantial; the Bloodstained Battle Boots, although not the best equipment in his possession, were definitely one of the best.
Now that he had acquired a large amount of magic crystals and materials, Ye Zhongming felt it was time to make another sacrifice. After returning to the Afo Tribe, he hid in his tent, leaving the arrangements for Gray Mountain to Afo and the others.
The Gate of Sacrifice remained unchanged, with most of the gems representing energy empty. Ye Zhongming did not immediately pour materials and magic crystals into it but first started to organize the resources at hand.
In the past few days, he had collected a large quantity of magic crystals from the two tribes, mostly first and second levels. These were also the average levels of the magical beasts that posthumous children usually hunted, so their accumulation was naturally significant.
These levels of magic crystals could be poured into the Gate of Sacrifice, while he decided to keep the third level and above magic crystals for later use, as they would be invaluable outside.
In addition to magic crystals, there were various materials, including animal materials from magical beasts and plant materials. Ye Zhongming carefully categorized them based on his memories from his past life, placing only those that he determined would be useless into the category for sacrifice.
After finishing this, Ye Zhongming stored away the usable materials and began to frantically pour the remaining materials into the Gate of Sacrifice. The gems representing the energy level lit up rapidly, and the energy lines within surged up quickly, startling Ye Zhongming enough to make him stop for a moment.
He occasionally sacrificed a few types of materials again, taking breaks to pull out some materials from his storage to throw in. In the end, he finally confirmed something that excited him. All materials from the Blue Secret Realm contained more energy than those of the same level on Earth!
Ye Zhongming couldn't help but recall that the strength of the magical beasts here was stronger than those of the same level on Earth. It seemed that these were related; greater strength meant greater energy.
Regardless of why this was the case, it was undoubtedly good news for Ye Zhongming. When he had consumed more than half of his materials, the energy gems on the Gate of Sacrifice were completely filled!
After hesitating for a moment, Ye Zhongming chose not to light it up directly but continued to pour materials inside. The scale line representing the quantity of energy reappeared at the bottom of the gem, rising...
When all the materials were used up, Ye Zhongming began to toss in the magic crystals until the energy scale line reached the top for the second time. Only then did he activate the gem.
Just like the first sacrifice, the gem immediately began to shine, and the entire Gate of Sacrifice lit up in response, with a golden light shooting up to the sky.
Ye Zhongming gritted his teeth, thinking how he had almost forgotten about this—this light could not be blocked by anything at all.
Fortunately, this was the secret realm, and with few people around for miles, there shouldn't be any major issues.
The golden light pierced through the tent and into the mountain, startling the people of both the Afo and Gray Mountain tribes. Many even believed it was a manifestation of a miracle, kneeling on the ground in reverent submission.
Afo and Gray Mountain exchanged glances, knowing that it was Ye Zhongming’s tent. This mysterious young man was up to something again.
