"How can you ensure they are under control?"
Jie Su's first reaction to Ye Zhongming's statement was not joy, but concern. The Little Slave Clan had always been a mystery to the All Races of the Universe. Even after years of being pursued, their understanding of such powerful cosmic life forms was still very limited. If it weren't for recently obtaining the shattered corpse of a Little Slave Clan member, they would still be in a state of unfamiliarity.
However, even now that they had obtained a large number of samples—Ye Zhongming had distributed some to the major races—other large clans were probably still conducting basic research. How could they clone them so quickly? And being able to control them? To be honest, Jie Su genuinely doubted it, or rather, did not believe it.
He only questioned whether they were under control rather than the authenticity of the entire experiment, which was already a considerate way to frame his inquiry.
"We don't need to control them completely. Just like battle beasts, we only need them to perceive the true Little Slave Clan as enemies," Liu Zhenghong said as she emerged from the inner room, her hands still sticky with some liquid—whether it was culture medium or something else was unclear.
Jie Su respected this top scientist from Earth immensely. Even among the All Races of the Universe, the terms genius and talent were still the most envied and coveted. Liu Zhenghong undoubtedly exemplified these two descriptors.
Having only arrived in the All Races of the Universe for a few years, even though Ye Zhongming had transmitted some advanced knowledge from Earth, to become a top scientist among countless races in such a short period was a testament to a level of talent that others could not compare to.
In the Su Clan's Musk Ke Star and Lena Planet, their greatest envy was naturally directed towards Ye Zhongming, a top artisan who could also fight.
Aside from him, Liu Zhenghong definitely ranked second. The importance of a top scientist was clearer to these super ancient clans than anyone else.
"Sister Hong," Jie Su called out politely, nodding his head.
Liu Zhenghong acknowledged him and walked up to the container, tilting her head to observe the life form floating inside, her face illuminated with a soft glow.
"The life form of the Little Slave Clan is indeed too complex for us. Even if we obtain a corpse, it would probably take decades or even centuries to fully understand it, and that might not be enough."
Jie Su nodded in agreement with Sister Hong's words. The exploration of unknown life forms was always fraught with thorns in the beginning stages.
Let alone whether the current technology of the Suna Alliance was sufficient; even starting from scratch to construct a brand new genetic map was not something that could be accomplished in a short time—the Little Slave Clan was simply too complex.
If it weren't complex, it wouldn't be so powerful.
"But fortunately, we don't need to fully understand it right now," Sister Hong pointed at the sleeping little slave clan member and said, "We can simply replicate it. It doesn't have to be perfect; overall replication with 'proliferation' based on the original is possible."
Jie Su honestly didn't quite understand; he knew she was speaking in generalities, just giving him a rough explanation.
"Furthermore, Cloud Summit has been conducting research on the Little Slave Clan relatively early. After receiving financial and technical support from you, achieving some results is only natural."
Sister Hong was not wrong here; Cloud Summit was indeed one of the earliest forces to acquire the genes of the Little Slave Clan, and they were also among the first to produce a semi-finished product with combat capabilities.
However, the semi-finished product used to break through the city gates of Divine Artisan City was truly just a semi-finished product and was rendered useless after one use.
"From what you’re saying, this test subject is not mature?" Jie Su asked Liu Zhenghong.
