This is Ye Zhongming's first close-up view of his home planet since arriving in the All Races of the Universe.
A massive, flesh-colored cage-like entity, the Slave Race, enveloped the Earth, alternately transparent and revealing its true form with each breath.
“The overall color is paler than normal for the Slave Race, and its breathing frequency has noticeably increased. Look here, in the polar regions, the 'claws' have already begun to show signs of dispersing. I believe it won't be long before this entity will leave here,” said a voice.
The speaker was Aikowei, a top scientist dispatched from the Laina Star, known for his expertise in biological genetics across the All Races of the Universe.
Since the Laina Aliens agreed to Ye Zhongming's proposal for collaboration, the dynamics within the All Races of the Universe have undergone tremendous changes.
The most immediate consequence has been... division.
With the Su Clan Alliance and the Laina Star Alliance joining forces, this strategic organization has become a formidable entity that poses a significant threat to others in the universe.
Conversely, the strength of the Hall People Alliance and the Myriad Clans Assembly is only slightly inferior.
In a situation where neither side could overpower the other, the Su Clan and the Laina Aliens aimed to confront the Slave Race, while the opposing side was unwilling, which directly led to the division of the entire All Races of the Universe.
Of course, this division did not occur overnight; it followed a year of intense verbal battles and covert confrontations within the Myriad Clans Assembly.
During this year, many influential public figures died under various mysterious circumstances. It was evident to those with insight that these deaths were orchestrated, as they had taken clear stances either in support of or against the action against the Slave Race. Their influence would sway large numbers of ordinary people.
Each race’s upper echelons had their inclinations, whether these were voluntary or coerced. They were reluctant to see their clansmen harbor differing views, as this could pose a significant risk.
The Hall People initiated underhanded tactics, and naturally, the Su Clan and the Laina Aliens retaliated. As a result, the death toll increased, leaving only the official voices from each side.
However, this did not deter the confrontation of two ideologies.
The Su Clan and the Laina Aliens targeted the Slave Race on Earth, necessitating the Survivor Fortress to reroute and enter the Slave Race's ‘territory.’
It was clear that negotiations were no longer an option. As long as the attitudes towards the Slave Race remained divided, divergence became the only outcome.
It was a true divergence.
You protect yourself, while I march toward death.
Division thus became inevitable.
After more than a year of wrangling, trading, covert struggles, and compromises, the Su Clan and the Laina Aliens returned with four Survivor Fortresses, heading towards Earth. Meanwhile, the Hall People’s camp continued to wander through the cosmos.
The term All Races of the Universe had lost its meaning.
From the establishment of the Su-Lai Alliance to the return of the four Survivor Fortresses near Earth, a span of over three years had elapsed. During this time, the Alliance of Small Races, represented by Ye Zhongming, had remained low-key. They had certainly not been idle, secretly making moves when necessary and intensifying their research on the Slave Race.
Since obtaining the genes and flesh of the Slave Race, Ye Zhongming and his allies had been fully committed to scientific research, and the urgency escalated further with the Laina Aliens' involvement.
Now, after more than five years, significant breakthroughs had been made regarding the Slave Race.
However, these researchers had not yet seen the Slave Race on Earth. Upon their initial observation, they were shocked to find the Slave Race’s condition to be so poor, even though they had mentally prepared themselves.
