Chapter 2710: The Fall of the Giant Dragon 🐉

Published: February 13, 2025

Sun Devouring City came alive at that moment.

Countless dragon silhouettes burst out from their nests, and the mist at the mountain's peak began to churn violently, continuously emitting a massive and dangerous aura without any concealment.

Dragon shadows and dragon roars became the only two things that existed between heaven and earth at that moment.

But all of this fell silent after the sound of bowstring vibrating.

Ye Zhongming held the Fallen Saint Bow, lightly flicking the bowstring with a finger. An invisible momentum surged from the foot of the mountain up to the peak, causing the Flying Lizard Clan to struggle desperately, on the verge of losing their balance.

"Don't be too arrogant!"

An elderly voice descended from the peak, spreading outwards and negating the attack emitted by Ye Zhongming.

Ye Zhongming looked up, squinting at the highest point. The Fallen Saint Bow suddenly raised, but instead of aiming in that direction, it pointed to the sky.

He lightly plucked the bowstring three times, and three arrows shot skyward before vanishing.

He slung the bow and arrows back over his shoulder, and a staff appeared in his hand.

This staff was short and appeared very inconspicuous, resembling a piece of ordinary dead wood. However, the knowledgeable members of the Flying Lizard Clan recognized it as the 'Earth Veil'.

It was an early creation of the dwarves, or more accurately, it was transformed into a piece of divine level equipment.

Since it was made from the branch of the now-extinct 'Wisdom Wheat' plant, the weapon benefited from the plant's natural characteristics, making the rules of power it possessed after becoming divine level very much aligned with its nature—though singular, it was incredibly powerful.

The ability to promote life was its rule and capability.

A small green spirit landed on Ye Zhongming's shoulder. Compared to its previous arrogance and gloom, the Wood Spirit had now returned to a state similar to that of its companions, albeit with a slightly more serious expression.

Ye Zhongming remained still, but from beneath his feet, green spread out, forming an immense and boundless carpet of grass.

The speed was astonishing. Sun Devouring City, already covered with abundant vegetation, quickly merged with the grass carpet under the rule of life promotion.

In almost an instant, Sun Devouring City turned green.

Many members of the Flying Lizard Clan were unsure of what Ye Zhongming intended to do, and no attack orders had been given from above. However, seeing the obviously threatening green plants, they did not hold back, unleashing various skills and dragon breath upon them, causing the entire mountain to shake.

Ye Zhongming, along with the Wood Spirit, raised their hands, and the plants of Sun Devouring City rapidly grew and blossomed. Even those that had just been shattered into pieces expanded and transformed into large splashes of color on the current scene.

The giant dragons attacked again, turning these enlarged greens into powder.

Many dragons even spat fire while looking at Ye Zhongming with disdain, as if to say, "Go on, keep going!"

Ye Zhongming's gaze remained calm as he waved his hand once more, causing all even the smallest plant particles to grow again, appearing as if they were trying to fill the heavens and earth.

This time, many powerful dragons that had previously resided near the mountain peak also moved. They unleashed more powerful magical techniques to shatter these plants and flew down to hover midway up the mountain, their enormous bodies proudly circling in the plant remnants, coldly staring at Ye Zhongming.

They recognized Ye Zhongming and understood why the elders had not issued any commands; this person represented a tremendous power, and any decision had to be made with caution.

But they only needed one command, and they would dive down together to tear this daring little insect that had provoked the Flying Lizard Clan to shreds.

"What do you intend to do? Showcase your gardener's secret technique?" Another elderly voice emerged from the mist at the mountain's peak, filled with arrogance and mockery.
