Legro's expression darkened.
He did not refute but waved his arm again. Starting from himself, red runic traces began to appear on the metallic pipeline's surface, spreading towards Ye Zhongming.
On Ye Zhongming's side, ice crystals emerged beneath his feet, also extending towards the opposite side.
"You talked so much before, but now that your true colors are revealed, you don't have anything to say?" Though Ye Zhongming had been injured and looked somewhat disheveled, the situation had shifted from his previous caution and passivity, and his momentum grew stronger.
"You did indeed utilize the rules' abilities, and you can temporarily wield divine level power for yourself. Though its power is far from sufficient, at least it seems you've accomplished something similar to what a peak expert can do."

Ice and fire continued to collide in Ye Zhongming's words, with fire having a clear advantage, pushing forward against the obstruction of ice and closing in on Ye Zhongming.
"But ultimately, it is not the true peak. The various abilities carry the scent of rules, yet they are merely superficial."
"Do you really think you can deceive me with this?"

"You talk too much!" Legro growled, and several beams of light shot from his battle armor. They did not shoot directly at Ye Zhongming but instead struck the surrounding metallic pipelines, reflecting repeatedly without penetrating the pipeline walls, and rushed toward Ye Zhongming.
With each refraction, they grew increasingly bright, becoming quite dazzling after several instances.
Ye Zhongming had to retreat.
He had indeed discerned that the opponent was not a peak expert, but that did not mean his current situation was advantageous. Legro had temporarily gained the ability to wield divine level weapons through unknown means, putting immense pressure on Ye Zhongming.
A slight misstep could still be fatal.
Just before the blinding rays struck Ye Zhongming, a pearl appeared in his hand without warning.
It emitted a gentle halo, radiating outward like an ordinary lamp.
But upon seeing it, Legro's expression worsened.

"The Su Clan really has something," Legro said, gritting his teeth.
The halo met the rays, causing them to vanish without a trace.
The flame patterns continued to advance even as they encountered the halo.
The water spirit puffed up harder, striving to prevent the fire patterns from getting closer.
"Borrowed from the Lena People," Ye Zhongming said, shaking his head.
"Who would believe you?" Legro replied, continuously waving his arms. A beast in the form of a flying bird composed entirely of fire elements appeared above his head. With a point of his finger, the fire elemental giant bird charged forward with a roar.
Within the metallic pipeline, ice and fire energies clashed continuously, creating a cacophony. Otherwise, Ye Zhongming would have certainly heard Legro's murmur at that moment.
"Die, die, die!"
To Legro, the ability to wield the divine level equipment 'Star Seed Pearl' represented that Ye Zhongming, like him, had temporarily crossed that threshold through some means.
