Ye Zhongming tilted his body and, using his waist strength, anchored himself firmly to the ground.
Before his eyes, the entire space was undergoing a transformation.
The originally flat ground began to bulge, rotate, and shift in certain areas. Buildings were collapsing in a rhythmic manner, revealing bizarre and irregular structures. Amidst the dazzling movements, these elements combined into a new framework that others could not comprehend.
Ye Zhongming's gaze quickly swept over these areas, and he finally confirmed his previous suspicions.
Underneath the various buildings, he had previously found some very fine gaps. Due to the passage of time, many of these gaps had been covered, and even those that were visible appeared natural, as if they were normal connections between different structures of this metal city.
He was an artisan, a very skilled artisan, so he would not overlook these gaps as others might.
He had always been curious about what they were and what purpose they served.
It was not until this moment that Ye Zhongming truly understood that these gaps were designed 'folds'; they could be tracks, interlocking components, or even some functional settings.
In summary, the entire city was undergoing drastic changes, transforming from a steel metal city into an enormous and unprecedented steel monster, a mechanical giant!
Ye Zhongming and many of the core members from the Su Clan who knew about this plan had envisioned countless possible accidents and speculated about the powerful trump cards that the dwarves might possess. Some of these speculations seemed utterly absurd, even to the most outrageous dreamers, but everyone had prepared contingency plans and sufficient psychological readiness.
However, no one had anticipated that a city, a city that had stood for countless years, could actually transform into a war beast.
Before the live broadcast, all beings from the All Races of the Universe gaped in disbelief at this incredible scene. What was happening was completely beyond their understanding.
A mothership capable of navigating the universe, essentially the fleet's flagship, was already a colossal object, comparable to a small city.
Note that it was a small city. No matter how big it was, it was just the size of a small city. Moreover, in the vast universe, surrounded by various gigantic celestial bodies, it appeared even smaller.
Yet, Divine Artisan City was one of the largest cities among the Seven Survivor Fortresses, and only a few cities like Su City could compare in terms of area and volume.
This grand city suddenly underwent a drastic transformation, rearranging itself into a completely different form.
Such a sudden and intense change shocked the hearts of everyone witnessing it.
At the same time, they understood that the Tarros Red Dwarf's final trump card had to be this.
This realization was not merely due to the visual shock but stemmed from the enormous cost required for such a transformation of a giant city. It was so significant that, unless it was a matter of life and death, even a wealthy clan like the dwarves could not afford the consequences of such an action.
A city could transform into a gigantic metal monster, but could that metal monster revert back into a city?
Many might think it was possible, but anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of urban structure and building construction would know that restoring the original state was impossible.
Even if the dwarves were divine artisans in manufacturing, they could not achieve it.
Moreover, as the city began to stand up and transform, many of the damaged structures fell away. That debris consisted of countless buildings that had been deformed and crushed during the transformation.
To revert back to a city, the vast majority of the structures inside would have been destroyed long ago. Restoring them to their original state was absolutely impossible.
If the dwarves wanted to continue living and thriving in this city, they would have to rebuild Divine Artisan City. But how much time and effort had the dwarves spent to achieve its current scale and prosperity? How many of their kin had perished?
