“It's really intense.” Some people in the flagship command room whispered while watching the light barrier.
It had been some time since they had arrived at the bustling castle, and many messages had come through, such as the earlier battle at Cloud Summit Manor and the annihilation of several dwarf legions at the Library Palace.
These events shocked everyone in the command room, and even now, they still struggled to accept everything that had happened. Perhaps, in their subconscious, they believed that attacking Divine Artisan City and wanting to annihilate the Tarros Red Dwarf should not and could not happen.
“Do you think these dwarves... really won't be wiped out?” Another voice came from the crowd.
Everyone's expressions varied, and most looked quite confused.
“I think it shouldn't be that easy.” One person murmured to those around him, “Look, everything that happened today was a deliberate trap that led the dwarves into it, dispersing their forces and weakening their overall combat strength piece by piece.”
“Then, through our cooperation and persuading the Hall People to observe the changes, the dwarves were left isolated and helpless, meeting the needs for a surprise attack and combat within a certain timeframe.”
“But the Tarros Red Dwarf is still the Tarros Red Dwarf, and Divine Artisan City is still Divine Artisan City. It seems like most of their troops have been dispatched, and there are over a dozen peak experts missing, but who knows how many hidden troops are left in the city, and how many peak experts with divine level equipment are still there?”
“The disadvantage, even the defeat, is certain, but to say that the dwarves could be wiped out in one go, I think that's impossible.”
“Just wait, once the situation reaches a certain point, someone will definitely step up to speak. Who knows, we might even do the same ourselves.”
Upon hearing this, the others nodded in agreement. The situation among the All Races of the Universe was just like this; they wouldn't allow one family to dominate, nor would they permit the major forces to become unbalanced. Even if some had ambitions to act, a little wind or movement would quell it.
Perhaps after existing for so long, any force would regard stability as more important.
Ana sat in the front chair of the command room, her entire body curled up in the backrest, silently staring at the light barrier, lost in thought.
Everyone in the command room actually knew that with Ana's strength, even if they spoke in hushed tones, she could hear them. Their intention was simple: to convey to Ana, the First Maid, some of their thoughts, and to obtain some concrete information from your majesty, the Queen.
For instance, whether they should wait here for a resolution or how to respond when the situation changes at some point.
At least this way, everyone would have a bit of certainty in their hearts.
Don't be fooled by their high status in their own races; some were even core members of great clans or super clans. None of them had experienced such a massive upheaval before.
Yet, Ana remained silent.
“Your majesty, the dwarves below sent a message, then... closed all communication channels.” The person responsible for receiving the information suddenly stood up and reported softly beside Ana.
There were no incompetent people in the command room, and everyone naturally heard this; the entire room fell silent immediately.
“Speak.”
Ana's words were concise.
That person hesitated for a moment.
“Speak!”
“Yes!”
“The legion leader of the Iron Lantern Legion, Rodir Yan, said we have ten minutes to evacuate. If we don't leave, they will launch an attack.”
The person finished speaking and let out a sigh of relief, but then quickly grew tense again.
The Iron Lantern Legion was composed entirely of Tarros Red Dwarfs, a true elite force. With three hundred thousand warriors, once they launched an attack, it would be terrifying.
And let's not forget, there was not only the Iron Lantern Legion at the bustling castle; there was also another elite Falling Hammer Legion, also with three hundred thousand warriors!
