CHAPTER TEXT:

Ye Zhongming's eyes involuntarily twitched.

He was very clear about what the loosening of the mark meant.

The dwarves might have already grasped his whereabouts.

"Fortunately, you went to the Colorful Cloud Fragment Star Belt and crossed through the star gate. Even if my seal is loosened, the Divine Eye shouldn't be able to detect it."

The Old Dean hovered one hand over the seal, probing it before using his power to seal the mark once again.

"I have been back here for a few days now. If they notice within these days, they..." Ye Zhongming felt that he should not harbor any illusions.

The Old Dean thought for a while, "There is that possibility, but even if they detect the mark on you, unless the Divine Eye has the ability to instantly capture and locate, they should only be able to roughly know which direction you are in, and won't be able to know for sure that you are in Cloud Summit Manor."

"Now that you are back in the Library Palace and in a state of movement, they will find it even harder to pinpoint your location. Now that I have resealed this mark, temporarily... it should be around sixty universal days, no, fifty universal days should be fine."

The sealing of the mark was completed quickly. Ye Zhongming pulled out a set of clothes from the space and a few people sat down together at the table.

"Big master now?" Ye Zhongming looked at Luo Luo and said in surprise.

In just a few months, the Yama Tree had actually stepped into the realm of a great master, faster than when he and Jie Su and Pao Bai were at the beginning.

"Hehe, I'm about on par with you now, want to mate?"

Ye Zhongming: "..."

Xia Bai: "..."

The Old Dean: "..."

"Luo Luo has had good fortune. Apart from the age wheel you found for her, this time, a certain old guy from the Gu Rui Star Clan sent a clone into the Library Palace to find her, providing her with ten drops of primordial power at the peak level."

The Old Dean said this as if it were a trivial matter, which made Ye Zhongming feel incredibly envious.

He had only dared to challenge someone who had just crossed their peak because he had the help of Chao Yang and Qing Mo, and it took a great effort to kill. Yet here in the Library Palace, a clone of a top existence from the Gu Rui Star Clan came in and killed at will; to them it seemed less than a chicken...

What a disparity.

Also, the Gu Rui Star Clan really seems to have a significant obsession with Luo Luo. They proposed conditions right after the novice battlefield ended and now even directly came to the Library Palace to capture people. To be honest, this is a bit unreasonable.

No matter how domineering the Gu Rui Star Clan is, they wouldn’t directly capture someone to train them. Even if they successfully cultivated them in the end, what if the person harbored resentment or even hatred? Wouldn't that be counterproductive? If they really wanted to have the Yama Tree pledge allegiance, they should adopt a more conciliatory approach, right?

Now it's just that they tested the waters after the novice battlefield ended and then captured people twice in succession? That feels a bit abnormal.

"I just tested it. Luo Luo's fuleira is now over 115,000. If she stabilizes for another month, she should be able to reach 120,000." The Old Dean said "stabilize" meaning to absorb some residual energy.

"If you guys are short on manpower, you can let Luo Luo go back. The Library Palace doesn’t have much to teach her about plant life. Most of it has already been taught to her; the rest will depend on her own."

The book keepers had been doing their utmost to train Luo Luo during this period, teaching her everything they could. Even if she wasn’t proficient yet or didn’t fully understand, they had her memorize it strongly, so she could slowly comprehend and practice in the future.

The Old Dean knew that Ye Zhongming had many things to deal with now, and if Luo Luo went back, it would at least add one more capable person.
