CHAPTER TEXT:
The followers of Ye Zhongming laughed.
Of course, the All Races of the Universe is just a loose union; they have never been one family.
Utilizing each other when beneficial and kicking each other away when not, this kind of thing happens every moment.
Betrayal? Selling out? These concepts do not exist; what exists is whether they can continue to cooperate.
Having dealt with those pieces of equipment, the Aleser Hammer People naturally had their own speculations.
The source of these items could either be that a manufacturing master capable of rivaling the Tarros Red Dwarf had appeared, breaking the dwarves' technology, establishing their own manufacturing team, and producing these items in large quantities.
Or, there could be an internal problem with the Tarros Red Dwarf, where a part of people led by a manufacturing master produced equipment to sell by bypassing the dwarves' own sales system.
Whichever it may be, the Aleser Hammer People knew it was something that couldn't be seen in the light.
If it was the first possibility, they would certainly fear being discovered by the dwarves; otherwise, they would just sell openly. If it was the second, then it certainly wasn’t the mainstream power of the dwarves, otherwise there would be no need to be sneaky.
Thus, they felt no pressure when selling these people out.
If the dwarves found out about this issue, they would definitely use thunderous means to resolve it, and by then, all these people would be dead, making any idea of revenge irrelevant.
So, using them to gain some benefits for themselves was a very normal thing.
“Since we can hold out for a good price, the other two super clans might send people too,” a follower excitedly rubbed his hands.
Having their own clan become the target of contention among many great clans must be a good thing for the clansmen; when the higher-ups feast, they could also enjoy some soup.
Ligetar shook his head, however.
“I think the two super clans may not be able to show up personally, but their core powerful clans or even super clans should send people. Otherwise, it would be too insincere.”
Hearing Ligetar say this, the follower also felt it made sense. However, he thought of something and said mischievously, “Boss, do you think the Su Clan will send someone?”
Ligetar chuckled coldly: “I don’t know about that, but even if Yao Han Su came personally, what choice would we have?”
The follower burst out laughing.
“Buzz~~”
A loud mechanical sound came from afar, causing Ligetar and his followers to look in that direction.
Thanks to advancements in technology, modern transportation devices have much quieter power sources. Those that still made such a noise were basically oversized transport vehicles; they didn’t care about appearance or energy conservation, but only about how much they could transport and how durable they were.
So, they used high-powered energy cores, prioritizing power and sturdiness, while noise and such were not considerations for the designers.
“Do we still have any big machines that haven’t been transported? From the sound, it doesn’t seem like just one vehicle,” Ligetar wondered. Although he wasn’t responsible for logistics, the city transformation within their clan was nearly at its end, leaving only small tasks like cleaning and organizing equipment.
Curiosity sparked in his mind, but Ligetar didn’t bother with trifles; these matters were not under his purview. He only needed to ensure the safety of his clan’s guard, and after taking charge of the Clan Authority Hall’s defense tomorrow, his responsibilities would be set.
Just when he was about to continue directing his followers to perfect the training ground, he heard the sound disperse, clearly indicating those big machines were heading in different directions, with one of them even coming this way.
Ligetar exchanged glances with his followers, both feeling puzzled.
“Go, take people to see what’s going on,” Ligetar ordered, asking his follower to check. He also speculated whether the clan had procured some excellent items again. With such scale, it could either be food or other consumables, or weaponry and equipment.
