Doomsday Roulette

Chapter 2401: Copper Pot 🥘

Published: February 13, 2025

"Exciting! Exciting!"

A Cloud Summit Warrior put down his empty Magic Crystal Firearms and spat on the ground. Previously, they had been heavily suppressed by the fear instilled by the beastmen, often attacking from the city wall while something would fall from above.

Those with good luck would suffer a head injury, break a bone, or get knocked unconscious. Those with bad luck would be smashed into a meat pie or tumble down the city wall.

Especially those harpies, who would dive down at extreme speeds, shooting arrows with a whoosh. Perhaps due to the Cloud Summit Warriors' strong defensive equipment, they often chose to aim for the eyes.

Many had been killed by these harpies, and those lucky enough to survive often ended up with one eye blind.

Even now, eyes are a part that cannot be restored; even if there are other methods, the materials needed are too precious, and not everyone is as lucky as Little Tiger.

The Cloud Summit Warriors hated these creatures so much they could grind their teeth in frustration.

Today, they finally vented their frustrations. The battle team had distributed various ranged weapons before the fight, allowing everyone to choose according to their preferences and abilities, whether it be bows, crossbows, firearms, or magic crystal weapons.

Just moments ago, countless warriors from two battle teams had attacked the sky together, delivering a heavy blow to the unsuspecting beastman air force, relieving much of the stress they had endured for days.

"Below the city!"

The order came from the roar of Tong Hu, and this warrior immediately picked up his weapon and moved to his designated defensive position.

However, just after taking a couple of steps forward, numerous whistling sounds filled the air. This six-star warrior sensed danger; without lifting his head, he dropped to the ground as a long spear whizzed past his head.

He heard a short scream behind him and knew that one of his comrades had been hit. With the enhancement from their equipment, unless one was at the seven-star level or above, this brother was likely in grave danger.

Grinding his teeth, he slightly raised his head to assess the situation and saw shadowy figures whizzing overhead. He knew it was Boss Tong Hu protecting them.

He immediately jumped up and rushed to the giant crossbow he was responsible for. After a quick adjustment, he pulled the special trigger, launching a metal arrow several meters long from the shooting port between the arrow racks.

This warrior didn’t even look to see the results; he was sure it would hit as the attacking forces below were too densely packed.

After firing the first arrow, a comrade beside him quickly handed over another arrow. This second shot calmed the warrior down considerably. He aimed at below and saw a gigantic figure dragging an enormous stone hammer while slowly advancing towards the city wall.

Siege beastmen! That’s what the Cloud Summit warriors called them.

"Just you!" he muttered, aiming and suddenly channeling energy into the arrow. With this action, the arrow vanished from sight, and when it reappeared, it was before the massive beastman, spinning with high speed and skillful power, piercing through the heavy armor of the creature.

The arrow exploded, tearing apart the monster’s body, which slowly collapsed, dropping the massive hammer as well.

These monsters would strike the city wall fiercely with their hammers once they reached the bottom, and half of the cracks in the wall were caused by them.

The Cloud Summit warrior chuckled to himself; he was very satisfied with this hit, but the next moment, he suddenly felt a chill in his chest. Lowering his head, he saw a small black wooden arrow had pierced into him unnoticed, and even his green-grade armor couldn’t protect him.

Instinctively, he looked down at the city, where the prince of the largest faction in the Titan Secret Realm was lowering his right hand, holding a strangely shaped wooden hand crossbow.

A comrade nearby shoved him aside, shouting for a medic, then took his spot and fired a third arrow.
