This was Ye Zhongming's first battle in the deep sea. However, it felt no different from fighting on land.
After all, with the Sea King Crown's enhancement, the seawater was not a hindrance to Ye Zhongming; instead, it provided him with additional support.
Ye Zhongming and the upper dragon entered the sea from the western coast and fought their way through with astonishing speed. In just one day, they had already exceeded the expectations they had discussed with just one person and one dragon.
Originally, Ye Zhongming intended to help the upper dragon secure two sea areas, but due to Ye Zhongming's overwhelming strength, not a single top-tier life form could last more than a minute against him. Using his immense pressure and deterrence, he successively conquered three sea areas, killing the leader of one and subjugating the king of another.
For the upper dragon, this day felt like a dream. With its strength, it could easily rule any sea area, except when facing opponents like the demon whale; it could compete against the kings of other sea areas.
Just like these three connected sea areas along the western coast, the upper dragon was slightly stronger than their kings, but to occupy their territories was nearly impossible.
Without a crushing advantage in strength, the quantity and quality of subordinates would determine the outcome. How many underlings did the upper dragon have left after being defeated by the demon whale? Moreover, they were still soaking in cold water north of the Bering Strait.
But it witnessed how Ye Zhongming did it.
This terrifyingly powerful human, after entering the sea area, could determine the position of the sea area king in just a few minutes. Then he took the upper dragon along to engage in a fight that was, "Those who comply will prosper, those who resist will perish."
Thus, the three sea areas fell under the control of the upper dragon, and this half-dragon ascended to the throne.
The world of mutated life forms is very complex, yet sometimes it can be that simple: whoever has the hardest fist is the boss.
Ye Zhongming had the upper dragon bring the original king of a sea area to organize and recruit a team while he took another surrendered sea creature to find the earthly proxy forces of Treasure Island.
Doing so would also help the upper dragon to control the situation more quickly; once everything was stable, the upper dragon would lead its newly recruited underlings to help in the sea area near the national district.
The king of this sea area could not fly, but was very fast on land. After two days, Ye Zhongming found his target.
There was no way around it; in America, this force was as famous as the Cloud Summit in the national district.
Since it was nighttime when he arrived, Ye Zhongming decided to let Klog hunt in the nearby large lake while he entered the survivor base known as Gold and Silver City.
This was a large city built on an island, utilizing its unique geographical environment and position, allowing them to only face the water-borne life forms in the surrounding large lake, naturally mitigating the dangers on land.
This reminded Ye Zhongming of the Luo family base, which had clashed with him not long after the apocalypse began; it shared a similar concept, although on a much smaller scale.
The guards here were very strict, but that was no challenge for Ye Zhongming. He quietly slipped into the city, wandering inside while wearing a mask.
Perhaps due to the absence of threats from mutated life forms, the nights here were quite lively, even without the limitations of firelight.
This was probably a "benefit" that human beings only enjoyed after evolving to the ninth level; at least the firelight didn't attract top-tier life forms that they were afraid of, as they could fully contend with them.
After wandering in the city for nearly an hour, Ye Zhongming found the place he was looking for.
A warehouse!
It was located in the northwestern corner of the entire city, appearing exceptionally sturdy from the outside, with guards spread throughout, and there was no one who did not belong to the guards within a three-hundred-meter radius.
