The Mechanical Genius's attack engulfed Little Brother Jiu. As Wen Hong fell, her companions also received fatal strikes.
When the light faded, Little Brother Jiu's battered body was revealed, but he was not dead. His wounds were rapidly healing. Everyone was aware of Little Brother Jiu's weakness; he could control parasites while having relatively low offensive and defensive power. Yet, they did not expect his recovery ability to be so monstrous.
In just a few seconds, he was back to his prime. It was initially thought that Wen Hong's death meant the end of the battle, but it seemed that was not the case.
"Unless you can kill all the parasites here, I will not die," Little Brother Jiu remarked, glancing at the deceased Wen Hong without a trace of sorrow for his fallen companion.
He was confident of victory; thus, the fate of his companions was of little concern. Now that Wen Hong was dead, the target was only Little Brother Jiu. However, the Mechanical Genius girl had lost her combat capability, Pao Bai was on the ground, temporarily unconscious, and the white dragon horse was injured, with an unclear fighting capacity. Jie Su was desperately trying to control the surrounding parasites, while Ye Zhongming could not transform.
Both sides were not in complete states, leaving opportunities for either.
"That's nonsense." Ye Zhongming did not believe it. He suddenly gestured toward Little Brother Jiu, and with a thud, a Star Token fell in front of him. Instantly, it released a beam that directly blasted off one of Little Brother Jiu's nine heads.
Simultaneously, the Earth Spirit's gravity control activated fully, and Ye Zhongming teleported next to Little Brother Jiu, slashing with both hands, taking off four more heads.
Pao Bai, who was initially injured and on the ground, endured the pain from Wen Hong's powerful attack as all his protective gear shattered. Seeing Ye Zhongming attack, he mustered the last bit of strength he had and slid away on the ground.
As he distanced himself from Little Brother Jiu, he threw two daggers that precisely struck two of the heads surrounding Little Brother Jiu.
Suddenly, seven of Little Brother Jiu's heads were extinguished.
The white dragon horse recovered slightly from the fierce battle and, unlike when he was fighting Wen Hong, did not charge in. Instead, he unleashed a series of dragon language incantations.
Little Brother Jiu faced a furious assault, retracting one of his heads into his body. Beyond his terrifying healing ability, he also possessed a horrifying regenerative power. The heads Ye Zhongming and the others had severed reappeared almost instantly.
He then sprayed various toxic gases, liquids, light spheres, even bones, and countless tiny parasites outward.
Beneath Little Brother Jiu's body, a gigantic hand grasped him. Before he could react, the cave behind him completely collapsed, pressing down on him.
Little Brother Jiu let out a blood-curdling scream.
Several of the projectiles he expelled struck Ye Zhongming, sending the King of Cloud Summit flying. His black armor cracked repeatedly as he fell, his face turning pale, blood oozing from his nose and mouth.
"You can control the parasites, but you cannot control the mountain," Ye Zhongming laughed, "I can."
At that moment, the white dragon horse finished his dragon language spell and stood still, reaching out toward Little Brother Jiu, summoning a small phantom shadow of a Rebel Dragon Race that landed beside Little Brother Jiu.
The little dragon was tiny, about the size of a fifty-inch television, but once it appeared, it 'kissed' Little Brother Jiu.
Just as its mouth was about to reach its target, it suddenly widened and swallowed Little Brother Jiu whole.
It was a bizarre sensation.
Little Brother Jiu's once massive body shrank significantly as he fell into the belly of the dragon's phantom. It was evident that he was struggling violently inside, continuing to attack with all nine heads restored, spewing various abilities. His heads roared, but those outside could hear nothing.
