Ye Zhongming remained quietly in the mountainside, waiting for Little Brother Jiu to continue speaking.
One minute passed, no sound; two minutes passed, nothing; five minutes passed, still no sound.
But Ye Zhongming was not in a hurry. He knew it was almost a half-hour journey from here to the Layered Water Desolation. The worst-case scenario is that Little Brother Jiu tricked them and would never speak again, allowing time to pass until the end, ultimately securing a win.

Little Brother Jiu and Wen Hong should be able to tell that he hadnât reached the level of a top expert. Given their level of hatred towards him, and with each of them being stronger than him in a two-on-one situation, it was unlikely they would just do nothing.
So Ye Zhongming continued to wait, waiting for them to speak again.

At this moment, another parasite appeared from a cave, leading Ye Zhongming out of the mountainside. By now, it had been over twenty minutes since Jie Su, Pao Bai, the Mechanical Genius, and the little girl had left.
This meant they were basically approaching the Layered Water Desolation, and there was less than an hour left until the three-hour deadline.
Ye Zhongming followed the parasite but didnât move very fast.
The King of Cloud Summit sneered in the darkness, knowing that this was Little Brother Jiu and Wen Hong trying to mess with his mind. He was not in a hurry, maintaining a five-meter distance behind them.
There were many forks in the caves, and the few people had previously relied on their excellent sense of direction to avoid getting lost.
The parasite took Ye Zhongming through a winding path, clearly trying to confuse him. After fifteen minutes, it finally brought him to a relatively spacious area.
The parasite stopped, turning its body to face the edge of a small open space that connected to at least twenty other caves.
Ye Zhongming frowned; he did not see the figures of Little Brother Jiu and Wen Hong, which made him somewhat angry. There were still less than forty minutes left before the three-hour mark.
âCowardly turtle.â Ye Zhongming suddenly exploded with rage, cursing in Chinese, then said, âYou two ugly monsters!â
As he spoke, he reached out, and the parasite standing to one side immediately flew uncontrollably towards him, grasped in his hand. Before it could struggle, he slapped it on the head, and the parasite immediately went limp.
After doing this, as if still feeling unsatisfied, he directly transformed, his massive figure causing the cave to collapse. Amidst the falling debris, Ye Zhongming summoned the renyi level mechanical battle beast, Mountain Rage, commanding it to âswingâ!
