Note From Developer: I’m a big fan of Chinese web novels, but I often came across great stories with poor translations. That’s why I started this website! My goal is to make this the best web novel translation site out there. If you have any suggestions or feedback, feel free to reach out on Discord or Instagram.

"What should we do?" Pao Bai licked his lips and whispered to his companion beside him.
"Of course, we need to go down and take a look," Ye Zhongming chuckled lightly and said, "Otherwise, we have nothing else to do, right?"
The other two nodded in agreement.
That was the situation; they were now trapped in this nameless place, surrounded by unknown numbers of parasitic insects, which could attack them at any moment.
In such circumstances, any change was good for them, even if the change itself came with danger.
"It's a bit high and dark; jumping down directly isn't an option. If we go down along the cave wall, we might encounter danger," Jie Su said.
They were currently located in the middle of the mountain's belly. If they didn’t want to jump down directly, they could only descend along the stone wall.
Given their abilities, that shouldn't be a problem, but there were just too many caves leading down to this area. They might get attacked by a creature from one of the caves during the descent. At that point, being in mid-air would be far more dangerous than being on solid ground, which is why Jie Su mentioned that.
"It seems a bit difficult to climb down along the walls," Pao Bai leaned out to have a look and pointed to the side.
The other two looked as well and discovered that the cave walls were unexpectedly smooth, resembling metal instead of stone, and it looked as if it had been oiled.
Jie Su used a dagger to stab at the wall a few times and found it required tremendous force to break through even a little bit, estimating that he would need to exert all his strength to push it in.
This clearly dashed their hopes of descending this way.
Ye Zhongming shook his head and directly released the white dragon horse. The advantage of having it as a battle beast was the ability to freely take it out from the battle beast space.
"Smells awful," the white dragon horse remarked as soon as it emerged, leaving Jie Su and Pao Bai momentarily stunned. In their impression, this Rebel Dragon Race creature had always been aloof.
"You haven't bathed either," Ye Zhongming shot back, "Take us down."
With that, he and Jie Su each grabbed one of the white dragon horse's claws, pulling Pao Bai along as the dragon and the three of them began to fly downward.
In mid-air, their vision opened up considerably, and they noticed that many of the surrounding caverns had life in them. The creatures stared coldly at the intruders but did not make any move.
"It seems not all species have degenerated in sight," Ye Zhongming muttered.
"Why aren’t they attacking us? Is it because they can't fly?" Pao Bai questioned. Logically, whether it was mutated life or parasitic insects, there should be about a quarter of their numbers that could fly. Now that they were in the air, it should be the best time for an attack.
"I'm just curious why they are so quiet. Is it because of... this strange cave?" Jie Su focused more on the unusual structure below, believing that it was the reason the surrounding creatures didn't come out to attack them.
Ye Zhongming nodded, but at that moment, he had no way of knowing whether the situation was good or bad; they could only take one step at a time.
Under the lead of the white dragon horse, the three quickly landed near the lantern ball they had previously thrown. This place wasn't too far from the platform ahead.
"Metal ground, metal structure... what exactly is this place?" Pao Bai raised the lantern ball, looking around in confusion.
When they were above, they didn’t have much of a feeling, but now that they were below, they sensed only one thing.
Magnificence!
The All Races of the Universe had indeed created many magnificent structures, with each Survivor Fortress being the greatest masterpiece.
Apart from that, there were also cities of some super clans, like Su City, and the Library Palace, which were highly representative buildings.
Not to mention magnificence; any words used to describe them wouldn’t be an exaggeration.
However, this place, though not large, still gave off that feeling in the dim environment.
