Seeing Ye Zhongming approach, the somewhat scattered group of people stood up.

A few hundred of them had been kicked out of their original battle teams and sent to this large warehouse-like residence, where no one had cared for them for days. Outside, the scene was filled with excitement, but here was a forgotten corner, and anyone would feel downcast in such a situation.

However, out of respect for the commander and the authority Ye Zhongming had gradually established during this phase, they still maintained their demeanor as soldiers. Ye Zhongming walked around the warehouse, observing the situation inside. It was slightly better than he had expected. Perhaps due to habit, these bronze warriors, even with their discontent, upheld the standards expected of soldiers. Hygiene, equipment, and gear were neatly arranged, and personal bedding and supplies were clean and tidy.

“Chusa, once the rookie king, regarded as the star of hope who could become a cornerstone of the Star-Eye Clan. In the first year after entering the Bronze Camp, he did show the strength expected of him. Unfortunately, from the second year onwards, his strength declined instead of increasing, leading him to be surpassed by many of his peers. This caused a complete imbalance in his mindset. Over these years, although he didn’t completely give up, he lived each day like a machine, with a dispirited will, indulging in miscellaneous studies, to the point of becoming indistinguishable from the crowd now.”

Ye Zhongming suddenly stopped and looked at a young warrior beside him. The warrior's face turned red, head bowed, fists clenched, trembling slightly upon hearing the latter part.

But Ye Zhongming didn’t pay him any mind and continued forward, moving to another person’s side.

“Voguel! One of the few physical power fighters in the Star-Eye Clan, yet you never think of yourself as talented, never feel proud, nor have confidence. You don’t utilize your strengths but instead pursue things you’re not good at, resulting in you always being at the bottom of assessments within the battle teams. Even the fuleira aspect doesn’t concern you; you just want to master assassination and ambush skills, living in confusion for these years.”

“I...”

A tall man, equally red-faced, wanted to explain, but Ye Zhongming didn’t stop and kept walking.

“Fumei, another talented individual. At fifteen, fuleira had already surpassed five thousand, but that’s not your most admirable aspect. What surprises and excites people is your mastery of various signature skills of the Star-Eye Clan, allowing you to defeat many strong opponents despite not being in a favorable position. However, you have become arrogant because of this; amidst constant victories and attention, you’ve developed a stubborn personality, thinking you can solve everything on your own. Thus, after entering the adult team, you faced disfavor from teammates and superiors. In a team where age equals strength, you have been suppressed by many who are older and stronger than you, which has damaged your confidence. You only sought to make up for these gaps through frenzied training, unaware of the principle that haste makes waste. Your intense training, combined with unscientific practices, has resulted in constant injuries. You always begin training anew before fully recovering, leading to a long cycle where your progress not only stagnates but falls behind that of normal warriors. Until now, you can only be considered decent, not excellent or top-tier!”

A female Star-Eye warrior dressed in tight black combat gear let out a cold snort and turned her head away.

“And you, Zhengqu, clearly have excellent combat metrics but a terrible temper. No matter which team you are assigned to, you struggle with teammates. You’re an excellent warrior, yet you’re resented and even hated by many thousand-person commanders. If it weren’t for Zhong Hongke always believing you could change and still hold hope for you, several other thousand-person commanders would have sent you to the clan’s tribunal. Even so, your temper only slightly restrained itself after arriving at the first thousand-person team, yet you still frequently act impulsively, getting into conflicts with teammates every few days. There was even an incident where you seriously injured a teammate, nearly causing a disability. If it weren’t for Zhong Hongke compensating a significant amount and shamelessly begging for leniency, you would likely be in prison or exiled now. However, because of this, Zhong Hongke has grown completely disappointed in you and has thrown you directly here.”
