Since Xia Lei has said so, the others didn't say much, but they were certainly anxious inside.

“Uncle Li, Young Master Yun, Xiao Peng.” Xia Lei's gaze fell on the three of them. “You are the first to conquer the national district's battle zone and have achieved a decisive victory. There shouldn't be any significant resistance there anymore. Little Tiger’s team will stay with you, using the mobility of the battle beast legion and Little Tiger's cavalry, along with Xiao Peng's team’s strengths in naval warfare, to quickly launch an attack on Southeast Asia. Ideally, we should complete the occupation within a month.”

Upon hearing this, the others were excited, but only Li Daqian shook his head, expressing some concern as he said, “Victory is certain, but the time is a bit tight, right? Although the main forces there have been defeated, you know that Southeast Asia has dense waterways, numerous rainforests, and complex terrain. Our enemies include not only the resisting evolvers but also various strange mutated life forms.”

As he spoke, Li Daqian looked at Young Master Yun and Xiao Peng. “You don’t know the situation until you engage; there are so many mutated life forms we've never encountered before. When we first entered there, we suffered a lot.”

Young Master Yun and Xiao Peng agreed. In that Southeast Asian region, bizarre occurrences were everywhere, and they had memorable experiences, such as a type of mutated insect that hid in the grass. They were only level two, and the insect king and queen were merely level three.

Yet, these small insects were incredibly hard to guard against. Their colors matched the grass around them, and their bodies were extremely soft; they moved when the grass swayed in the wind.

There were also many of them, and they knew how to set traps. When an evolver entered their territory, they wouldn’t be attacked immediately, but would wait until a sufficient number had entered before launching their assault.

Although they were low-level and soft-bodied, like the blades of grass, their teeth were sharp enough to bite through equipment below the golden level. The wounds were neither large nor deep, and even the injuries were quite light, but they would inject a toxin with a hallucinogenic effect into the evolver's body. Evolvers of four stars and below would immediately go into a frenzy, attacking those around them as if they were enemies, while those above five stars had some resistance, and only seven-star evolvers were completely immune.

These insects used this characteristic to make evolvers kill each other, and afterwards, they would suck blood and eat flesh among the grass.

Although these insects could be easily killed, when they died, the toxins would spray out as poisonous mist, becoming effective once again.

One could say that these mutated life forms were a persistent nuisance, impossible to eradicate, yet seemingly ubiquitous.

It was only due to the warriors from Cloud Summit being well-equipped, having high evolution levels, complete logistics support, and a sufficient amount of detoxification potions, as well as placing importance on logistics—with each battle team having a substantial number of auxiliary and medical professionals—that the losses caused by these insects were minimized.

And this was just one of the issues; there were many unexpected troubles.

To occupy such a region within a month seemed a bit unrealistic.

“We can't let it exceed a month and a half at the latest. There will be a ninth-level life form to assist you because two months later, we will have a major operation that requires the mobilization of most battle teams. So by the latest, the fighting in Southeast Asia must be concluded within a month and a half,” Xia Lei said after some thought, setting the deadline at one and a half months. She looked at Li Daqian and the others and added, “It doesn't need to be so thorough. As long as you clear out the resisting evolvers, that's good enough. Afterwards, Xiao Peng’s team will stay in Southeast Asia to handle follow-up matters, and Cloud Summit will also dispatch non-main force teams there for defense.”
