Seeing Pao Bai, the six members of the Luther Clan and the Apocalypse Star People were also shaken.

The Star-Eye Clan really invested heavily; they actually sent him down to protect this rookie first-place contestant. It seems this nearly extinct little clan has placed their hopes for revival on this first place.

However, several warriors secretly shook their heads inwardly. Pao Bai was quite famous; many lives knew of the Star-Eye Clan because of him. He had performed brilliantly in various competitions and hunting arenas, and his overly aggressive combat style made many feel a headache at the mere mention of his name.

But that was outside. Here, he had suppressed his power, so how much combat ability he could actually exert was debatable. Moreover, he wasn't invincible outside; he merely had better achievements among the mid-tier ranks.

Yet regardless, the convergence of both sides greatly increased their strength. They already had seven mature warriors, and the number of rookies exceeded twenty.

With a team of this size, unless they encountered another joint battle team, they would basically be safe from significant issues.

But nothing is absolute; things did not develop in a good direction and instead became worse.

Not far from them, in a dense forest, two individuals sat on somewhat rough stone stools, aimlessly throwing stones that they had just cut from the stools.

"Why are we just sitting here, waiting for what? Wouldn’t it be better if we killed some parasites? If that slave clan really comes here, those parasites would be wasted."

The man on the left had seven fingers on each hand, yet they were slender and pale like a woman’s. His feminine appearance was only contradicted by the red cloud-like mark on his forehead and the numerous scars crisscrossing his face, indicating he was a ruthless individual who had gone through countless battles.

"Are you Ainilu people really that out of touch?" The other person casually threw a stone, easily piercing through four large trees and embedding it in the fifth.

"What?"

The Ainilu person frowned, looking at his friend, the fifth heir of Shuo Star.

The Shuo Star people were the backbone of the Lena Star Camp, one of the super clans. Though this friend was only fifth in line, he was definitely one of the core members, holding far more resources than many mid-sized clans.

The Ainilu person hadn’t paid much attention to his friend's insistence on suppressing his power to come here, thinking it was just a boredom diversion, so he hadn’t even proactively searched for rookies from his clan. But now, it seemed there was indeed something going on.

"The next target star of the slave clan."

The Shuo Star individual replied.

The Ainilu person looked at his friend with some dissatisfaction, "Has the next star already been predicted? Shouldn't that be announced immediately? Also, can you finish your sentences in one go?"

The Shuo Star person’s expression suddenly shifted, but he still remained seated. The Ainilu individual glanced ahead but quickly shifted his gaze back to his friend's face.

"It has been confirmed, but it hasn't been announced yet. The major clans in the front rankings already know, and it’s estimated that in a few cosmic days, this information will be shared with other clans. Even after this rookie battlefield ends, everyone will know."

After saying this, he didn’t wait for his friend to ask again and continued, "Do you know? It's a large star in a newly discovered star system, larger than any planet currently detected by the Survivor Fortresses. The life forms there are relatively strong, and the roulette has already landed, right at the beginning of the second year of the apocalypse. But strangely, the slave clan targeting this place isn’t moving fast; they will probably take about a hundred cosmic days to arrive."

The Ainilu person’s heart skipped a beat, unable to contain his surprise.

"So, we have a hundred cosmic days to set things up? Then..."

"Yes, you’ve figured it out." The Shuo Star individual said seriously, "We have ample time to select agents, allowing them to grow stronger in a short time. By the time the slave clan arrives and sends out parasites, the benefits will be unexpectedly large."
