Chapter 1873: Heavenly Descent (Middle) ☁️

In an instant, sharp semicircular blades extended from the belt and suddenly struck the person in that position.

This was not the end; if it were only such a simple physical attack, how could it be called the Death Wheel Belt? As the semicircular blades fully unfolded, long, slender biological tendrils sprang out from the gaps in the metal. They were soft yet extremely elastic, with hollow but sharp conical tips, surrounded by swirling black mist.

The person let out a gasp and jumped backward, simultaneously swinging two strange weapons forward in hopes of pushing back the attacker.

The reason for this was also out of necessity; they had slightly underestimated their opponent. Even though they knew that He had quite decent equipment, in a situation where they held absolute advantage, they unconsciously overlooked certain dangers.

In their minds, under such unfavorable circumstances, wasn't He supposed to first attempt to surrender or perhaps buy his life with money?

The Death Wheel Belt sliced through the armor on this person, and those slender biological tendrils plunged right in.

The person let out a muffled groan, feeling their arms grow numb. The weapons they usually wielded with ease now felt incredibly heavy, and they realized it was the toxicity of the Death Wheel Belt taking effect.

Gritting his teeth, his head began to swell, along with his belly. Suddenly, he opened his mouth wide and issued a silent roar towards He, a visible shockwave crashing into her and pushing her backward.

This allowed him to escape, and as the weapons felt too heavy, he simply discarded them. He pulled out an antidote from his space and swallowed it, feeling a little relieved.

But the next second, he noticed a brilliant light in front of him, a blinding brightness, and his heart sank again.

He had forgotten the Long Void Water Clan's most renowned and adept attack—Sacred Talisman attack!

He could only raise his arms once more, instinctively making the only defense he could.

When the light disappeared, his body remained in place, but when he opened his eyes, a tragic wail escaped his lips.

His arms had vanished, dissolved by the energy of the Sacred Talisman.

For a nine-star evolver, let alone whether he could recover using other technology or abilities, just considering that this test, which still had a day left, without arms meant something that everyone understood.

This was almost akin to death. It was even worse than dying outright, as it was preferable to such severe injury and disability.

His scream lasted only two seconds before it was abruptly cut off by a sharp dagger piercing through his throat, snuffing out his voice and life simultaneously.

A member of the Chaos Heart Clan appeared beside him, holding the dagger, shrugging at his companions and foes.

"He’s of no use now; we can't let this woman score any points."

Seeing the grave expression on one of the other members of the team, he continued, "If I end up like him in the future, you can do the same to me."

The others fell silent, redirecting their attention towards He.

This person's combat power made them reevaluate her, along with the realization that this member of the Long Void Water Clan had come from who knows how many cosmic years ago.

This woman’s combat ability was quite formidable.

Even though they had lost a companion, the remaining three did not feel particularly tense, as the main combat strength of the team comprised two members of the Chaos Heart Clan and four controlled life forms.

He panted slightly, her form turning to liquid and then instantly restoring. Coupled with activating the Sacred Talisman, it had caused considerable energy expenditure. Moreover, though that person's shockwave attack was aimed primarily at pushing her back, it solidly hit her, shaking her insides. She did not cough up blood or anything that severe, but the swirling blood essence made her feel unwell.

The situation she faced had become increasingly dire.

The others naturally noticed that He’s condition was deteriorating. They no longer wanted to engage in a game of cat and mouse like before and began to close in on her, while the four controlled life forms bared their teeth and charged at her.
