The aircraft flew through the sky. This process would have been extremely dull if one had nothing to do, but Ye Zhongming and his companions were all busy to the point of exhaustion.
“Remember the characteristics of these parasites, as you never know what you might encounter. However, don’t take everything at face value; after all, this information has come from various All Races of the Universe over the years, and we cannot guarantee its complete accuracy,” Aslan said, leaving several people speechless.
Previously, the parasite information mastered by the Star-Eye Clan had already been taught to them. Now, they were being asked to memorize details collected through other channels, which likely contained some errors.
There was no helping it; in Ye Zhongming's view, the All Races of the Universe once seemed like advanced beings with powerful combat capabilities, akin to invincible UFOs that roamed the cosmos freely.
However, during this time, his understanding of the All Races led him to feel that they were more like a pack of stray dogs on the brink of collapse. Some were large, and some were small. The larger ones were still somewhat robust; even if life was tough, they could tighten their belts and manage to scrape by. If worse came to worst, they could even eliminate a few smaller ones to share their food and survive a little longer.
The smaller ones had no choice but to fight hard to become fatter and grow faster, striving to become larger ones sooner or at least reach a medium size. If that was impossible, they needed to shed weight quickly enough to avoid being the last left behind, allowing others to perish first.
In this fiercely competitive environment, any information they released was likely to be flawed, and worse, it might even contain deliberate misinformation to lead the small ones to their demise.
In addition to memorizing the types of parasites, Ye Zhongming and his companions also needed to familiarize themselves with each other's skills and combat habits.
At first, Ye Zhongming was not very adaptable; after all, he had never needed to coordinate with anyone back on Earth. Luckily, before his rebirth, he had been a member of a team and understood how to provide remote fire support and coordinate during combat.
However, the four of them all understood that they were holding back something.
During this period, Ye Zhongming took the opportunity to ask Aslan some questions he still didn't quite understand when they were alone.
For instance, where were they heading? Where was the rookie battlefield located? Why, despite having aircraft, could the All Races only focus on seven targets? Also, would the top evolvers on the target planet of the slave race still receive entrance tickets? Would those who had not reached the top level still be able to be brought over? And many other questions regarding the All Races of the Universe.
Aslan did not seem annoyed by the barrage of questions. He simply told Ye Zhongming that the question about the rookie battlefield would be discussed with everyone when they approached their destination. Short-term flights were manageable for the All Races’ aircraft, but long-distance flights were too extravagant due to the enormous consumption of Moon Age Gold.
“Do you know? The universe is vast; even we do not know just how large it is. Given our current situation, we cannot search for entirely new life planets, so we can only follow the slave race,” Aslan said while eating from his plate, where various colorful plants were displayed. Ye Zhongming wanted to ask if the All Races of the Universe were also into dieting.
“As for whether other life forms on the target planet would receive entrance tickets... that’s certainly possible, as long as they can be snatched. However, they wouldn't be brought over, because the teleportation devices in the Survivor Fortress are set to allow only ninth-level life forms to obtain such opportunities.”
Ye Zhongming nodded, Aslan's response clarified a long-held question. If he could bring some of Cloud Summit's subordinates over, that would be fantastic. Even if they were not top-level life forms, their roles would surely be more beneficial than coordinating with these three cunning individuals.
