From the beginning of the Mountain King Plateau Space trial, many battle teams had fallen silent multiple times, but none had lasted as long as this one.
Finally, a team was eliminated. This meant that the death outcome that everyone had come to realize had officially begun.
It had been six years since the apocalypse started, and no one could count how many times they had faced death. Logically, there shouldn't be any fear or discomfort left.
However, when they reached a certain level, death became unfamiliar once again. Thus, the fear that had long disappeared, or rather, had become numb, returned.
Especially when they saw the Bright Star belonging to Great America be destroyed in an explosion on the light barrier, this emotion peaked.
Death was right in front of them... once again.
At this moment, not to mention the weakest women's camp and Jannadrah, even the usually passive Ogre Chain suddenly became tense.
All they could think about was one idea. What would happen if it was their turn and they encountered the thunder of destruction?
Jannadrah expressionlessly played his Soaring Crystal. He had basically used up all the cards in his hand, and with little money left and his strength greatly diminished, it was questionable whether he could get through this stage.
Fortunately, in this round, he had good luck and landed on a planet that belonged to Great America. Although he had no extra money to buy Bright Stars, at least he didn’t have to fight or pay.
Now, Jannadrah had no opportunity to turn things around. Even if he were to have this kind of good luck with every step and land on a star, he could never get first place, so nothing was more important to him than stability.
Ye Zhongming then played his Soaring Crystal, landing on the Bright Star of the Mechanical Genius. He didn't hold back and took on the Guardian Beast by himself, not needing help from anyone else. Of course, with Yangos on his left and the earth yellow pill on his right, he didn’t need anyone’s assistance.
The bad luck card still existed, and even if Cloud Summit won the challenge, they still had to pay a toll, which made Ye Zhongming and the others quite helpless.
Next up was the women's camp. How should one describe their luck? It was really not good; they landed on the Bright Star of the Mechanical Genius. Without money, they could only fight.
Under the double difficulty, even though the Guardian Beast was not at a high level, they had to endure a tough battle once again.
In the end, the women's camp won, but their numbers had decreased again. They looked much worse off than Jannadrah now.
It was clear to everyone that this was a team on the verge of collapse. Perhaps in the next round, they would follow in Great America's footsteps and be completely eliminated.
As for Ella or the level and strength of the black leader Jiana, it seemed unlikely that they would have any sacrificial equipment.
The last one this round was the Mechanical Genius.
As if influenced by the overall calm of this round, this neurotic guy was surprisingly quiet. He obediently played a Soaring Crystal, landed on a Bright Star of Great America, and painfully purchased a Guardian Beast, increasing his Bright Star by one.
However, he naturally could not escape the bad luck card. After buying the Guardian Beast and claiming the Bright Star for himself, he received a prompt stating that due to the bad luck card, his recent purchase was invalid.
In other words, he lost both the money and the Bright Star. The Mechanical Genius exploded in anger and let out his signature scream.
After five rounds, Jannadrah, the Ogre Chain, and the women's camp had lost their qualification for competition, leaving only the Mechanical Genius and Cloud Summit Villa with a chance to claim victory.
The gap between the two sides remained unchanged, with Cloud Summit leading by three stars.
In the sixth round, the Ogre Chain entered the "death zone." However, with the elimination of Great America, many Bright Stars here were unclaimed. Landing on one of them didn’t matter, and for the rest, they could just pay; they truly didn’t lack for money.
