Ye Zhongming acted immediately upon his arrival, driven by the desire for better rewards and to catch the little boy off guard so he couldn't use his trump card.
From Adam's attire and demeanor, Ye Zhongming surmised that the little boy likely had a powerful backing; otherwise, given his age and temperament, it would be improbable for him to become a leader of a battle team at this level.

Ye Zhongming lowered his raised gun slightly.
He noticed that this Energy Vortex was not only emitting sound but also enveloping the little boy within it.
“Adam is my child. He may have offended you, or perhaps you coveted something about him that prompted your desire to kill him. But none of that matters; as long as you can spare him, you can take everything he possesses, including his equipment and weapons. You can also come to Lake Superior to find the Hawkins couple, and you will receive unimaginable wealth. I swear this by the honor of the King of Naka.”
“If you still intend to attack my child, you will face the curse of the King of Naka. My wife and I, the great Goddess of War Amethyst, will hunt you to the ends of the earth, making you experience all the suffering the world has to offer. Believe me.”
With that, the voice died down, and the colorful Energy Vortex began to fade, indicating that the protective measure shielding the unconscious little boy was dissipating.
Ye Zhongming's expression remained unchanged as he instantly teleported over, and with Wind and Thunder Twin Birth, he severed Adam's head.
From the nearly disappearing Energy Vortex came a high-pitched woman's scream, which abruptly ceased. A second later, just as the Energy Vortex vanished, the same voice returned.
“I will find you and kill you!”
Then everything disappeared, leaving only the light and shadow arena.
Ye Zhongming looked down, his heart tumultuous.
He realized that the body of the little boy he had killed had vanished!
In this special space, the person known as the King of Naka or the Goddess of War Amethyst, who had screamed and then fell silent, possessed the ability to take people away?!
Ye Zhongming suddenly recalled some news he had heard while waiting for the Mountain King Crown space to open; there was a powerful organization on the American side of Lake Superior. Was that the backing of the little boy?

He had killed the little boy in one minute, and the reward he was supposed to receive was initially s-rank minus, but due to the tie-breaker, Ye Zhongming chose to elevate the reward quality, thus changing its level to s-rank.
When the light orb appeared, it was different from previous occasions; this orb was larger in area and brighter.
