Level Eight!

Many people couldn't help but exclaim.

If it were just a single eighth-level being, the Cloud Summit warriors wouldn't be so shaken, after all, they had dealt with ninth-level life forms before.

However, even though these type four Stone Cavalry were the least numerous and required two or three type three cavalry to form, the sheer number of these Stone Cavalry was overwhelming. In just a short while, over a dozen powerful type four cavalry had emerged.

And the numbers were still increasing.

"Hold your ground!"

Ye Zhongming said in a deep voice, then his body flashed out, weapons in hand, as he charged towards the nearest type four Stone Cavalry.

In Cloud Summit, there were many capable of defeating eighth-level life forms and battle beasts, but here, currently, only Ye Zhongming could do it with ease.

Perhaps Red Hair and Xia Bai could too, but their time would take longer, and being trapped among enemies was extremely dangerous. Furthermore, the Cloud Summit camp needed experts to maintain order and oversee the situation.

Ye Zhongming plunged alone into a sea of enemies, using continuous slaughter to relieve pressure on his team. His strength, speed, equipment, and skills far surpassed those of these Stone Cavalry; even the eighth-level type four cavalry could only withstand a few hits from him.

Minutes later, Ye Zhongming returned to the formation. At this moment, his face was slightly pale, his chest heaving violently, droplets of sweat forming on his forehead, and his armor bore several dents and even cracks.

In just that brief period, Ye Zhongming had exhausted most of his mental energy and his stamina had significantly decreased. While his defensive gear had spared him from external injuries, the impact on his body had made the King of Cloud Summit feel quite uncomfortable.

Fortunately, most of the type four Stone Cavalry that had appeared earlier had already been eliminated.

"More are coming."

Ye Zhongming drank two potions, one for restoring mental energy and the other for healing internal injuries. As for stamina, with the Bloodstained Battle Boots and the beautiful celestial body, his recovery speed was extremely fast.

In the distance, several type four Stone Cavalry appeared again, accompanied by even more type three cavalry, which stirred a sense of helplessness in the recently returned King of Cloud Summit.

He needed a few minutes to recover before striking again. Usually, this time passed unnoticed, but now it felt like a century.

Fight on, they had no other choice.

In the white expanse of the heavens, within the mysterious space, the battle was endless.

Debris, shouts, impacts, light, explosions... everything seemed to signify one thing.

Mountain King Plateau, welcome!

An hour later, the entire battlefield fell silent. The tide of Stone Cavalry had vanished, leaving behind over twenty dead, dozens wounded, and nearly all of the rest slightly injured among the Cloud Summit warriors.

Though the casualties were heavy, to eliminate these Stone Cavalry in under two hours was indeed worthy of celebration.

But no one cheered.

Everyone stared at the ground, where there lay shards of stone.

The type four Stone Cavalry were the highest level that appeared; in the end, they had all become enemies of this level, numbering over a hundred.

The earth yellow pills, Yangos, and other battle beasts capable of fighting with their bodies had all entered the battlefield and had paid a heavy price for victory.

Most of the casualties occurred when they were attacked by these eighth-level life forms.

Everyone was watching the remnants of the type four Stone Cavalry, waiting and hoping that they would not merge again.

Because that would mean the emergence of type five Stone Cavalry, a ninth-level presence, or even something stronger than ninth-level.

The debris stirred, and the hearts of the Cloud Summit warriors sank as the feared occurrence began.

All the shards gathered in one place, and many Cloud Summit warriors unwillingly launched attacks, hoping to reduce the number of shards and prevent the formation of a fifth-level life form.
