The transparent, small energy shield encased a light, ethereal entity with a human head and fish body, about the size of a baby's fist.
However, these small entities emitted from various parts of Jannadrah's vehicle. Due to the intervals, their numbers were not too many; each shooting hole released one roughly every two seconds. Nevertheless, with over a hundred shooting holes, at least a hundred energy bodies flew through the air at any given moment.
These energy bodies were peculiar; their speed was not extremely fast, but their power was tremendous. Once they struck the mutated sea creatures charging toward Jannadrah's team, they would penetrate the shells and embed themselves in the bodies. After that, the mutated creature would shudder and die instantly.
The mutant crabs were manageable; although their shells couldn't stop these bubble-like energy bodies, once dead, one could just see the blood and flesh flowing out with little else. However, those serpent-like creatures were a different story. Their bodies would explode upon impact, resulting in scattered chunks of meat.
Clearly, these bubble energy bodies pierced through their bodies and caused secondary explosive damage within them.
The power of these attacks was enormous.
One must know that these mutated sea creatures generally had a higher evolution level than terrestrial beings. Among the two types charging at Jannadrah's team, the lowest was level four, though there weren't many of them. The majority were level five, with about a quarter being level six. While they lacked the top-tier level eight beings, there were still plenty of level sevens.
However, neither the six-star nor the seven-star beings could withstand such bubble energy shots.
These energy shots were powerful, but they couldn't stop the influx of mutated sea creatures. In the battle formation established by Jannadrah's team, long gun barrels extended from the hovering armored vehicles, firing wildly at the front.
These were not bullets; they were similar to laser weapons. Beams of light swept across the battlefield, each capable of taking dozens of enemy lives.
Additionally, there were some ‘Gundams’ clad in external armor that caught the attention of other factions. They didn’t truly resemble Gundams or mechs from Pacific Rim; instead, they were mechanical armors that covered vital body parts. Yeo Zhongming didn't know what the other parts did, but the weapons on their hands and shoulders surprised many.
These were jet devices expelling a light blue mist that coalesced within the first few dozen meters after firing, then suddenly dispersed, creating a large coverage area.
They specifically targeted the areas missed by the gun barrels and bubble energy shots. Any life form touched by this mist would be frozen into ice sculptures. Whether they were dead or alive remained uncertain, but they would undoubtedly lose their mobility for a short time.
This was enough. In such intense combat, the difference between losing mobility and losing life was minimal.
In just a short time, nearly ten thousand mutated life forms were controlled by Jannadrah's team. At this rate, it wouldn't be long before they could crush the enemy.
As one of the temporarily unengaged members of the Cloud Summit team, Ye Zhongming was naturally curious about Jannadrah's vehicle. He guessed it must be a product from the All Races of the Universe. However, he was more interested in the evolvers' seemingly simple external armors.
Ye Zhongming noticed something very strange: when the armors were in use, a kind of parachute-like device on the evolvers' backs would immediately unfold during battle, revealing a framework inside. The surrounding air rapidly flowed inward, and then the weapons in front opened fire.
Connecting this with the previously released mist that had extreme freeze effects, Ye Zhongming couldn't help but suspect that this armor absorbed extremely low-temperature air to produce compressed mist.
If this were the case, then it would be the best weapon here, possessing endless energy.
