Standing on the hillside beside the Ten Thousand Beast Manor, Li Daqian watched the Cloud Summit team gradually recede into the distance, his expression complex.
“Dad, do you think Yuan Yuan… will be able to adapt?”
Beside him lay a lazily sprawled colorful giant bear and a white sixth-level unicorn, along with a young woman, who at this moment had reddened eyes, gazing at the departing team with a quivering voice.
She was Li Zhi Chong's wife, Li Daqian's daughter-in-law, and Yuan Yuan's mother.

The woman quickly agreed. She had married Li Zhi Chong only after the apocalypse had begun and understood very well that she had to demonstrate her capabilities to gain recognition. Otherwise, her father-in-law could replace her at any time, especially while Li Zhi Chong was in a coma.

The woman was momentarily shocked; although she didn’t quite understand her father-in-law's intentions, she quickly nodded in agreement.

Xiao Min stood next to Ye Zhongming, reporting the situation while looking at the scattered bones on the ground. She appeared more excited than Ye Zhongming himself.
There was no way around it; ever since those undead lifeforms appeared yesterday, the female warriors of the red dress guard had been itching to try them out. The strength exhibited by those skeletal frames and decaying corpses made them eager for action.
However, Ye Zhongming was asleep, and they didn’t dare to act rashly.
After leaving the Ten Thousand Beast Manor, Ye Zhongming selected some for them to practice on, and the women found it quite enjoyable. After all, the overall strength of those undead lifeforms was around level five, which posed no significant threat to them but also wouldn’t crumble easily.
