The method used by the posthumous child to sever the iron chains indeed caused a tremendous shock among the people of the Temple of Dawn. Such a self-sacrificing act evoked a sense of fear in them, who were also flesh and blood.
They were somewhat confused; could an army like this, comprised of posthumous children, truly be defeated? Even if they emerged victorious in the end, would they still be alive?

The cavalry moved; with cover from their comrades who had charged near the wall, they began to rush toward the breach. Once they entered the Royal City, it would essentially signal the fall of this spiritual city of the posthumous children.
"Block them!"
This was the response from the posthumous children. Besides the soldiers defending the wall, the army on standby inside the city also rallied toward the breach. With the wall gone, they became the wall!
The air force of the Temple of Dawn was the first to reach the battlefield. Braving the attacks from the deadly devices atop the wall, they threw their magic crystals from their hands. Once their magic crystals were depleted, they discarded the spears and chain balls tied to the spirit vultures, aiming to inflict as much damage as possible on the posthumous children on the wall, providing support for the ground troops' advance.
Of course, it would have been better if the air defenses of the Royal City ignored them; then these warriors would have shown the posthumous children the might of the Temple of Dawn's highest-cost troops.
The ground trembled as the knight order of the Temple of Dawn surged forth. Those in their path quickly made way, momentarily relieving the pressure on the Royal City's battlements.
Almost all defensive devices, at that moment, when external pressure weakened slightly, suddenly targeted the troublesome air force of the Temple.
