Chapter 110: Father of Magic Crystal Weapons ⚔️

Published: February 5, 2025

“It's your turn, hurry up!” A short man was pushed out, but just moments ago he had witnessed his companion being bitten to death by a zombie. How could he obediently walk to his death?

The man screamed in despair, pushing back with all his strength. Under the adrenaline rush, his legs, which had been weak from hunger, pushed vigorously against the ground.

Guan Changchun, holding a piece of iron pipe, flashed a fierce light in his eyes. He swung the pipe and struck the advanced technician's knee, the sharp sound of bones cracking mingled with the man's wails, causing him to collapse to the ground, clutching his knee and rolling in agony, large beads of sweat soaking his clothes.

“Give him a stab!”

With Guan Changchun's order, someone beside him dashed forward and stabbed the man's other leg. Blood immediately began to flow.

“No! Ah! It hurts so much!” The man cried, tears streaming down his face, filled with regret over his decision to join them in searching for food. This was not a food expedition at all; they were clearly using them as bait to attract the zombies near the supermarket.

The smell of blood quickly spread through the air, and moments later, the familiar hissing sounds of zombies could be heard as they sensed the blood and rapidly approached!

Guan Changchun quickly hid with his group, and upon spotting a lone zombie, they rushed in and smashed its head, collecting the magic crystal from its forehead.

Before long, the screams reached a climax before abruptly stopping, leaving only the sounds of flesh being ripped apart and loud chewing. Twenty or so zombies were already feasting happily.

A few people took the opportunity to rush into a small supermarket, quickly grabbed some items, and ran back out, fearing discovery by the zombies. Guan Changchun, hidden away, mentally cursed his subordinates for their cowardice, not realizing he himself hadn’t dared to go in.

When the group returned, Guan Changchun snatched the backpack and took a look. He slapped one person's face and scolded in a low voice, “Damn it, is this all the food you brought back? It’s not enough for even a day! You wasted two baits for this little bit, you useless trash.”

The person who was slapped touched his face but dared not speak, clearly feeling a bit disgruntled.

“Brother Changchun, but there’s still one left.”

The loader lifted Le Da Yuan by the back of his collar, treating him like a little chick. Throughout this journey, he had physically punished the advanced engineer, claiming it was because his wife had once suggested giving Le Da Yuan some food.

Guan Changchun looked at Le Da Yuan, hesitated for a moment. He had initially planned to use the two baits to acquire enough food and then use the last one to draw in zombies while collecting magic crystals. But now, it seemed he would have to prioritize getting enough food first. Fortunately, there were still plenty of baits at home; they could gather magic crystals next time.

“Alright, make a cut on him, and let him run over there.”

After Guan Changchun spoke, he grabbed Le Da Yuan's chin and said fiercely, “Le, listen closely, I’ll make a cut on you, but it won’t injure your leg. In a moment, you’ll run over there, and we’ll support you. If you manage to escape, you’ll live and get food. If you can’t escape, then you can only blame your bad luck for being eaten by the zombies. Do you understand?”

Without waiting for Le Da Yuan's response, he signaled the loader, who complied and stabbed a knife into Le Da Yuan's arm, then pulled downward.

A torrent of blood sprayed out; the knife had almost completely severed Le Da Yuan's left arm, leaving a thirty-centimeter-long gash deep enough to see the bone. Even Guan Changchun couldn't help but twitch his mouth at the sight.

After glancing at the loader, Guan Changchun’s guard was raised, but he said nothing, directly kicking the howling Le Da Yuan to make him run faster.

Le Da Yuan clutched his arm and ran, but his vision began to darken. The pain was rapidly diminishing, but his body was turning cold. He was a genuine PhD graduate; although not a medical student, he knew this wasn’t a sign of healing but rather a signal of excessive blood loss, causing his body to go numb and cold. Perhaps in just a few seconds, he would collapse from shock and become food for the zombies.
