※This is a surprise post to celebrate the release of the new volume.

“Demon god, are you alright?”

“Parion, is that you?”

“Yeah.”

The demon god stirred from the luxurious bed.

Having fallen into the gods’ trap and fused with the “poisoned Satou,” they had been resting quietly to purge that defilement.

As Parion innocently tried to hug as usual, the demon god stopped him.

“Why?”

When creating the physical body, the demon god always enjoyed such embraces. So why stop now? Parion asked.

“The defilement will transfer.”

“...I see.”

Parion’s face looked a bit dazed, perhaps because the newly created body wasn’t yet accustomed.

“Still, I’m impressed you made it this far.”

He admired that Parion had ventured alone to the deepest part of the Demon World, where demon races who despise the gods like poison dwell, without causing any trouble.

“I’ve nurtured my authority.”

“Good job, Parion.”

Praised by the demon god, Parion puffed up with pride, chest out and nostrils flared.

In Parion’s sight, an unfamiliar object caught his eye.

“What’s this?”

Parion looked at the pearlescent great scythe gleaming with iridescent light displayed in the bedroom.

“The Divine Reaping Scythe — a weapon capable of killing gods.”

“God slayer?”

Parion muttered softly and reached out to take the scythe.

It seemed heavy for his frail body, and his unsteady steps looked precarious.

“Parion, put it back; it’s dangerous.”

“If I put it back, I can’t go kill.”

Parion swayed, wielding the scythe.

“It’s incomplete.”

“Why?”

Parion tilted his head in confusion.

“It doesn’t have divine power infused yet.”

“How do you put it in?”

“That’s why I created the Purple Tower to collect divine power. It will accumulate in ten thousand years.”

“Use the divine power of the Nymphs?”

“Their divine power is too diluted and meaningless. Even combined, it’s insufficient.”

“How much is needed?”

“An amount equivalent to one god’s power.”

Parion’s eyes widened, shocked at such an enormous volume.

“This is troubling.”

Parion frowned and tilted his head along with his body.

He couldn’t think of a way to solve the paradox of needing to kill a god in order to complete the god-killing scythe.

“I’ll come again.”

Parion muttered quietly and left the demon god’s palace.

“Demon god. I’ve thought of a good idea.”

Parion returned and started talking about the main topic without greeting.

Whether the poison implanted by Fake Satou had healed, today the demon god was not lying on the bed.

“Well met, Parion. What’s this good idea?”

“I’ll use the White Heavenly Radiance Crystal.”

“—White Heavenly Radiance Crystal? The one deep in the divine realm...”

“Yeah.”

Noticing Parion’s gaze fixed on the Divine Reaping Scythe, the demon god guessed that Parion intended to use the crystal to replenish the scythe’s divine power.

“Will it be enough?”

“The divine power crystal ‘White Heavenly Radiance Crystal’ is sufficient, but... it can’t be done.”

“Why?”

“It’s needed not only for the divine realm but also to protect the human world.”

The barrier maintained to protect against the outer beings roaming the void is powered by the “Seven Pillar Gods,” and the White Heavenly Radiance Crystal serves as both the focal device and booster.

That was the demon god’s understanding.

“It’ll be fine.”

Parion confidently puffed out his chest.

“Is that so?”

“If everyone contributes, it’ll be enough. Everyone is secretly holding divine power.”

Parion insisted that collecting the gods’ hidden divine power could create a new White Heavenly Radiance Crystal.

“With this, the grand ambition can be fulfilled.”

The demon god thought: threatening the gods with the Divine Reaping Scythe could free people from divine rule.

What was Parion god thinking as he smiled slyly...?

“Let’s do it.”

“All right. Parion, guide me through the divine realm.”

“I accept.”

Thus, the demon god and Parion formed a team, and the White Heavenly Radiance Crystal was to be stolen from the divine realm.
