This time it’s a bit longer.
This is Satou. When I come across something I’m interested in, I often lose myself and get absorbed in it. Usually, that’s not a problem, but when I’m with friends or a lover, it can cause all sorts of troubles...

“That’s amazing,” Arisa murmured as she looked toward the hero.
Ahead of her gaze, the hero Meiko was engaged in a high-speed battle with the demon king lich. Surrounding their battleground, flames blazed fiercely, forming three layers of fiery rings encircling the area.
“Meiko! Burn all the blood and flesh to ashes! Don’t hold back—just slash away!” shouted the hero Yuuki toward her.
“I know!” Meiko replied curtly, but as she shifted from pure evasion to offense, the corners of her mouth lifted happily.
“Hang in there, Meiko! That’s the real demon king, the one that was splitting itself! My unique skill confirms it!” hero Seigi called out from outside the ring, but his voice didn’t seem to reach the exhilarated Meiko cutting into the demon king.
On my AR display, there was no noticeable difference, but Seigi’s unique skills—either “Evil Exploration (Where are the bad guys?)” or “Righteous Mind’s Eye (The truth is always one)”—must have revealed the truth.
In reality, the demon king Meiko was fighting moved much faster and fought more skillfully than the demon kings their comrades had defeated.
That said, Meiko herself was faster, with evasive abilities enhanced by her unique skill and her own combat sense surpassing the demon king’s.
“Yuuki-sama! Flesh fragments are flying!” Meiko’s attendant yelled upon spotting the regenerating flesh fragments transforming into sludge-like tentacles midair, slashed off by Meiko.
“—Great Forge!” Yuuki responded, evaporating the flesh fragments with high-level fire magic so intense it could even melt magical metal.
“Yuuki! There’s some fallen into the shadows of the flames! Take them down before they regenerate!”
“Damn, easy for you to say! —Great Forge!” Seigi, glowing with blue light, pointed out the regenerating flesh fragments hidden in the shadows cast by the ring of fire.
Though Seigi appeared idle, he was clearly handling an important part of the demon king’s defeat.
Still, if things continued like this, Yuuki’s magic power would run out—
—Hmm? Yuuki’s magic power isn’t decreasing as much as expected.
From checking with magic power sight and AR display, it seems Yuuki is sharing magic power with his attendants.
When an attendant’s magic power is depleted, they disconnect their link with Yuuki to take magic power recovery potions, and return to support once their magic power has sufficiently recovered.
“The hero’s kid is doing her best. Let’s cheer her on together!”
“Go, go!”
Pochi and Tama cheered for hero Meiko.
Even the straightforward Lulu and Nana joined in. Lulu stored the giant floating turret back into the “garage,” and Nana changed into spare golden armor to replace her broken one.
“Sa—Lord Nameless, are you sure it’s okay not to assist?” Zena-san looked worriedly at hero Meiko.
Even with her unique skill for full evasion, Meiko’s one-on-one fight with the demon king was stressful; sometimes she would make big evasive moves that drained her stamina or small evasions that resulted in parts of her armor shattering.
Though she took minor injuries when her armor tore, Meiko’s attendants healed those wounds with magic, without me needing to step in.
“It’s fine,” Meiko said, but at that moment she slipped up and accidentally cut off the demon king’s wrist.
“Meiko, you clumsy!”
“Seigi! Is your flame ready?”
“Not yet!”
“Damn it—Great Forge!”
Yuuki tried to burn the severed wrist with hellfire, but the regeneration speed of large parts outpaced the burning, causing more and more new demon kings to form.
“Oh no, what should we do?”
“Shut up! Great Forge! Great Forge!”
Yuuki unleashed relentless attacks on the regenerating wrist.
