This is not from Satou's perspective.
This is a short story from Liza's point of view.
"Hehe, it's your fault, you know? For laying your hands on someone else's things..."
What should I do? Lulu's behavior is strange.
"Now, obediently accept your defeat."
Seeing Lulu with a dark smile, holding a kitchen knife in one hand, sends a chill down my spine.
"Oh my, are you scared? Curling up like that. Do you really think hiding will help?"
Lulu's tone is so pressing, I hesitate to speak, but I remember Master said he'd come soon, so I'd better stop this now.
"Now, give upโ"
"Lulu."
When I called out, Lulu spun around at incredible speed. Seeing the kitchen knife held with both hands makes me afraid she might stab me.
"W-were you watching?"
"No, I wasn't. More importantly, Master is coming, so stop this little act and quickly finish removing the pests from the leafy vegetables."
"P-please, Liza, don't tell Masterโ"
Lulu's panic is adorable, but since she's still holding the kitchen knife, I lightly pinch her hand to take it away. It's dangerous.
I promised Lulu I swore to keep what I saw a secret. As a thank you for her keeping it quiet, she said she'd treat me to a thick-cut steak today. I didn't intend for this to happen, but meat is innocent. Let's enjoy the meal.
"What's wrong, Liza? You look happy about something."
"Nothing at all."
This is a secret between maidens, so it's a secret from Master.
This is a re-recording of the short story previously published in the activity report on 2013/08/29.
