This is Satou. Weddings are a joyous occasion. No matter what anyone says, they're something to celebrate. My wallet gets a little light from all the congratulatory gifts, but still, it’s a happy occasion. Please, I beg you, don’t have more than three weddings in a month—Satou here, exhausted.

“Even though I was restricting myself from using active skills, I didn’t expect to lose five times in a row.”

“You did win in the end, didn’t you?”

“I can’t face my comrades if I lose every single match.”

The hero, who had been slumped on the ground with both hands and feet planted firmly, rebooted.

What was supposed to be just a second round ended up turning into several consecutive matches because he got too focused. It was because the hero said, “One more round,” when he lost twice in a row.

Thanks to that, I managed to acquire the skill "Preemptive Reading: PvP," but maybe I overdid it a bit.

Since he wasn’t using his usual combat skills, the hero kept leaving subtle openings during battles, making it easier to predict his moves.

Arisa, who had been clinging to my shoulder and poking my cheek with her index finger, was pried off. She said something like, “Ehehe~ I didn’t want to let go because I was so lost in the moment~.” For both our sakes, it’s best to keep the truth between us.

Princess Merryest, who had been talking with the hero, said she’d return first and headed toward the underground passage. The white crocodile will serve as a landmark, so she probably won’t get lost.

“Seriously, every single one of his moves isn’t very fast, but he predicts them all perfectly... So, is he a transferee or a reincarnator? That last one must have been a permanently activated unique skill, right?”

The hero asked with a tone of certainty.

“No, that’s not—”

“Ah, I’m not trying to deny the outcome of our match.”

Though I was about to deny the baseless claim, the hero stopped me with a hand.

Well, since there’s no one else here, we might as well exchange information. The hero probably sent Princess Merryest away with that intention.

I explained that I didn’t know whether I was a transferee or a reincarnator, that I might have missing memories from before and after awakening in this world, and how I met Arisa and the others. Of course, I didn’t mention my unique skill, the meteor shower, or levels.

“Satou, do you know the Rumork Kingdom?”

“Yes, I have acquaintances from that kingdom.”

“I see. You might have been summoned there.”

According to the hero, an Ear Tribe spy who had infiltrated the kingdom confirmed that seven or eight people from another world had been summoned.

I heard that the third person, who was presumed dead, had also been safely rescued.

After being rescued, I apparently stayed with the spy for several months, but went missing when they tried to take me to the Saga Empire. Since it was confirmed that I had no special powers while we were together, no tracking team was dispatched. Running away right after being summoned, huh? Definitely a lone wolf.

We exchanged some information, but aside from minor details, most of it was already known. Of course, it wasn’t without benefits. Just from Arisa’s modest request, they agreed to provide us with copies of advanced magic books excluding forbidden spells and strategic-level offensive magic—important for national defense. However, it seems making copies will take a long time, with the soonest delivery expected in six months.

Additionally, they arranged for us to receive travel permits and identification papers for the Saga Empire’s embassy.

This will come in handy if we ever visit the Saga Empire as tourists.

Oh, and I got a promise that my identity as someone from another world will remain “secret by the hero’s name.” I’m not sure how much I can trust that, but since there seem to be quite a few otherworlders around, it probably won’t be a big issue. The hero also guessed from my story that I’m likely the eighth person summoned in the Rumork Kingdom.
