There are some violent expressions and disturbing descriptions of monsters. Please be cautious.

This is Satou. They say the three great desires of humans are sleep, appetite, and sexual desire. So, it’s understandable if one acts carelessly out of appetite. But I want to do my best not to lose to sexual desire. After all, lolicon (attraction to young girls) is said to be one of the seven deadly sins.

Damn.

Even though I was in Nanashi’s silver mask mode, so I thought it would be fine, I might have stood out a bit too much.

Now, how should I cover it up?

No, maybe this is a good opportunity. Ever since earlier, I’ve been feeling that vague lonely feeling of someone wandering alone in an MMO hunting ground, so maybe it’s better to go all out flashy, separate myself from my usual self, and make it harder to reveal my true identity.

Fortunately, the whale’s evaporated blood is in a misty form, so they shouldn’t be able to see me.

There probably isn’t anyone using "distant vision (clairvoyance)" like me. I tried it with Arisa, and when she used it, I could tell by magic power sensing that I was being watched.

For now, I need to use my voice. “Ah, ah—” I change the pitch.

> "Voice-changing skill acquired."

Since I’m going for the flashiest one, I’ll go with "White Mask, with Radiant Halo Option."

I came up with this without restraint during some weird late-night mood with Arisa. My outfit is based on white clothes trimmed with gold thread. I added unnecessary flowing cloth to give it a shrine maiden vibe, and made the fabric on the shoulders, chest, and waist baggy to make the gender ambiguous.

No cloak or outer coat, but I wear that white smiling mask. The wig is a new long straight purple one. Of course, it’s not made from Arisa’s hair. It’s a white wig that’s been dyed.

Using illusion magic, I added a glowing triple halo as an option, and set it so that when moving, it leaves a blur trail. As a bonus, I put a ring that glows intensely on the outside of each ankle, syncing with movement speed. I completed the look with a "flexible shield" and "flexible armor." I gave myself the title "Nameless Hero" to match Nanashi.

This is a flashy style I would never want to do as Satou.

Since I’m going to intervene anyway, I boldly used guided arrow (remote arrow) to destroy two remaining insect-type monsters and the yellow-skinned demon race’s healing orbs. I redirected the surplus to the yellow-skinned demons, but it seems they blocked it. Some magic arrows were burnt by the yellow-skinned demons’ flame magic. Using magic on magical targets is a clever use—I’ll try that next time.

“Who are you?”

“Who’s there!”

The hero and the yellow-skinned demons both demand identification simultaneously.

They both seem to be keeping their distance and are wary of me. I lower my altitude to about ten meters above ground.

“Nanashi.”

I declare my name briefly.

Thanks to maxing out the voice-changing skill, I can adopt any voice. I adjusted my voice to sound like a boy played by a female voice actor. The age and gender are ambiguous, which works nicely.

My danger sense reports a threat coming from the beautiful woman behind the hero. Come to think of it, two or three minutes have passed since the chanting started. It must be some high-level spell, but judging by this feeling, it doesn’t seem like a spell that can be used in the city.

No good.

That must be stopped.

It’s been a while since I’ve felt such urgency. I checked the logs; it doesn’t seem to be mental magic.

Convincing the hero to stop it would be best, but there’s no time for back and forth, so I’ll force it.

First, I use “magic disruption (Break Magic)” to forcibly interrupt the spell.

Naturally, raw magic power, having had its structure destroyed, floods the surroundings. From various midnight magic experiments, I anticipated this, so I protected the women with “principle power barrier (Mana Section).” It shouldn’t be a very strong defense magic, but it seemed to hold fine.
