Note From Developer: I’m a big fan of Chinese web novels, but I often came across great stories with poor translations. That’s why I started this website! My goal is to make this the best web novel translation site out there. If you have any suggestions or feedback, feel free to reach out on Discord or Instagram.

Today, three chapters posted simultaneously.
This is the second chapter.
“We’ve arrived. This is the house and office where Ms. Eleonora will be living from today.”
This street is a place I was directly involved in reorganizing. The buildings lined up here are designed with an image of Georgian style, like on Earth. Maybe my taste isn’t flashy enough, but as a residence, there’s no problem.
“I also don’t like anything too extravagant, so I think the calm atmosphere is nice. By the way, these buildings... including the two next door, there are three houses that are slightly larger than the others, right?”
“That’s because the original building here was large, and it made sense to divide it into three. Also, when preparing this place—”
Just as I was about to explain in front of the office, I heard the front door of the house on the right open. I glanced over and saw familiar faces coming out in a group. They are the delinquent youths I’ve occasionally helped before, or rather, young adventurers now seriously active.
As I was about to call out to them, they noticed me at the same time, and their somewhat tired and relaxed expressions instantly tightened.
“Good work, Brother!”
“Ah, um... good work to you too...”
These kids must have really felt the impact when I first beat them down, because they’re still like this around me... Oh, right, Ms. Eleonora.
“Ms. Eleonora, these are like my juniors as an adventurer.”
I briefly introduced her to them as well.
“So, if there’s anything while I’m not around, feel free to ask her. But try not to cause too much trouble.”
“Roger that! Please take care of us!”
“Y-yes. Likewise, thank you very much.”
Usually, Ms. Eleonora gives off a sharp impression, so she looked a bit flustered. Even though these former delinquent adventurers have become earnest and steady, being suddenly bowed to by these rough-looking young men is understandably a bit overwhelming.
“Do you all live here?”
“Oh, well—”
Just as I thought I needed to explain, the door opened again.
“What’s up, young folks!? Did you forget something inside!? Or do you have questions!?”
A man’s voice thundered, loud enough to scare off the little birds perched on the trees across the street. The man himself was elderly, with a sturdy build and a splendid beard.
“Huh!? What’s this!? Ryoma boy! Did something happen!?”
“Hello, Lord Sanchez. Today, I came to guide the person who will be our secretary, as I mentioned the other day.”
“Oh! She’s already arrived?”
“Ms. Eleonora, this is the former legal officer, Lord Garcia Sanchez, whom I spoke of before.”
“Pleased to meet you. My name is Eleonora Lansole. Please be well acquainted.”
“Ah, yes! I am Garcia Sanchez! Though I’ve retired from being a legal officer, feel free to rely on me anytime if you have questions about law or contracts! And if you want to learn about law in general, I’ll make time for you!!”
“As he just said, Lord Garcia offers legal lectures individually to those interested. Even for the adventurers, he makes sure they at least understand the basics—what actions violate laws, and what the consequences are.”
“There is no noble or lowly before the law! The benefits and punishments of the law are given equally to all! I believe knowledge should be the same! I have plenty of free time in my retirement! Feel free to call on me anytime!
Now then! You have many new things to do in this new environment! I shall take my leave!”
“Oh, then we’ll be going too.”
“Excuse us!”
Lord Garcia went inside, and the young adventurers left as well. Suddenly, the bustling noise silenced, and the residential area felt peaceful.
“You must have been surprised meeting him for the first time.”
“…He was like a storm.”
“He’s just loud, don’t worry, he’s not angry. He’s not just normal, he’s actually a really good person.”
“‘No noble or lowly before the law’—that’s his creed. I’ve heard that in his active days, he stuck to that principle strictly, showing no favoritism even to nobles with great power and wealth, and maintained it until retirement.”
