Zhao Hai looked at the undead being and smiled slightly, saying, âYou must be the Skull King from the Underworld, right? I wonder if I guessed correctly?â
The Skull King looked at Zhao Hai curiously and said in a deep voice, âWho are you? Where is this place? How do you know my identity? Did you open that spatial rift?â
Zhao Hai smiled slightly at the Skull King and said, âI donât have the ability to open that spatial rift. To be honest, I wouldnât want to open that rift either. Frankly, I donât think any dimension would want to open a spatial rift to the Underworld, donât you agree?â
The Skull King tilted his head slightly, clearly intrigued by Zhao Hai. He continued, âYou are quite interesting. You know I am the Skull King and that we come from the Underworld, but you donât seem afraid of us? Have you already become that strong?â
Zhao Hai smiled and said, âI do have some confidence in my strength. The main thing is that when you all appeared, I had already evacuated everyone in this placeâmy family, my friends, everyone I care about. So, everyone related to me has already been moved away. Even if you turned this place upside down, it wouldnât concern me. As for your subordinate, I have already taken him away. I am quite curious about you and want to study you well.â
The flames in the Skull King's eyes suddenly flared up, seemingly indicating his anger. He looked at Zhao Hai and said in a calm voice, âDo you want to turn us all into your slaves?â
Zhao Hai smiled slightly and replied, âI wouldnât put it that way, but itâs somewhat similar. I have a special ability that allows me to turn all undead beings I capture into my servants.â
The flames in the Skull King's eyes burned even brighter as he stared at Zhao Hai and said, âHuman, I know you are strong, but you must die!â After finishing his words, the Skull King reached into his cloak and pulled out two golden axes, which were large and heavy.
The blades of these axes resembled two massive semicircles, each about one meter in diameter, with a curved spike etched with skull patterns on the backs. The axe handles looked like segments of bone.
Zhao Hai saw the Skull King's appearance and smiled slightly. He flicked his staff, and in an instant, it transformed into a combat knife that resembled a tang dao.
The Skull King glanced curiously at the combat knife in Zhao Hai's hand, but he didnât say anything. Instead, he moved like a whirlwind toward Zhao Hai.
Zhao Hai noticed the Skull King's unique method of attack. He spun while wielding the two axes, which had picked up speed and momentum. The axes, being heavy weapons, became even more formidable when swung with such force.
However, at Zhao Hai's level, such an attack was not very intimidating. The weight of the weapon had no effect on him. He raised his tang dao to block the Skull King's axe.
Clang! A huge force struck Zhao Hai's tang dao, making him momentarily stunned. He hadnât expected the Skull Kingâs attack power to be so strong. He could feel the tremendous force behind the blow, indicating just how powerful it was. An ordinary person would likely struggle to withstand such an attack, even a divine-level expert would find it challenging.
What puzzled Zhao Hai was that the Skull King's strength was clearly much greater than that of an average divine-level expert, and it seemed he had already reached the supreme divine-level, yet he didnât use a domain. This left Zhao Hai feeling quite perplexed.
Since the other party didnât use a domain, Zhao Hai also refrained from using one. After blocking the attack, he quickly retreated.
At this moment, the Skull Kingâs attacks came in an unending stream. Zhao Hai soon realized that the Skull King's spinning attack was not only to enhance the attack power of the axes but also to create a continuous flow of attacks, tightly chaining them together. If one took a step back, one would be forced to keep retreating, finding oneself completely at a disadvantage. Zhao Hai was currently in such a situation, as the Skull King's axes spun around him like a tornado, seemingly intent on trapping and crushing him.
