Time passed quickly. Zhao Hai stood calmly on the Darkness King, gazing at the distant spatial rift. There seemed to be no changes at the rift itself, but Zhao Hai knew that behind it, things were different.
Behind the spatial rift, the people of Atlantis Continent were aggressively advancing towards Ark Continent. Their four ships, each weighing over a million tons, had officially begun operations.
Initially, Zhao Hai thought he would first face the Divine Race members from the God Realm, but to his surprise, a month had passed since they arrived at Taurus Continent, yet they were still leisurely building their base with no sign of urgency. They were slowly transporting strategic supplies like magic circles, food, and more by ship, seemingly preparing to construct a gigantic fortress.
In contrast, the people from Atlantis Continent, after completing their large ships, immediately began loading various supplies and mobilizing troops. Once everything was ready, they boarded their ships and came directly towards Ark Continent without any probing or reconnaissance.
This behavior truly astonished Zhao Hai. The people from Atlantis Continent did not appear to be inexperienced soldiers on the battlefield, yet they showed no signs of caution or reconnaissance, charging directly at Ark Continent. This left Zhao Hai perplexed.
The actions of Atlantis Continent seemed somewhat reckless. Zhao Hai couldn't understand where their confidence came from. However, he had to admit that the magical mechanical civilization of Atlantis Continent had developed impressively. After their ships were initially designed, they added more features, making the four ships resemble moving cities on the sea.
Most importantly, Zhao Hai also noticed many high-level mechas. Some were even more advanced than the ones Aks piloted, capable of transforming into three different forms. In Zhao Hai's view, the combat power of those mechas would undoubtedly be no less than that of an ordinary divine-level expert.
This time, the O'Neill family deployed nearly a thousand such mechas, and it was evident they were not using their full strength; they had also loaded additional mechas onto the four ships for frontline combat.
The ships had now arrived at Flame Island. The Hundred Victories docked there, and immediately, the mechas flew off the ships, launching directly onto Flame Island, where they exterminated the remaining magical beasts and collected the magic crystals from their bodies.
Zhao Hai kept a close watch on the movements of Atlantis Continent, eager to understand what was happening. Fortunately, perhaps because they sensed no danger, the magical shield on the ships remained inactive, allowing Zhao Hai to observe their actions clearly.
They brought the magic crystals to a small factory on the lowest deck of the ship and used one of the machines to convert the magic crystals into energy devices.
Zhao Hai watched in astonishment; he never expected the people from Atlantis Continent could achieve such a feat. It was truly astonishing.
Zhao Hai then realized that the power source for those mechas was also derived from magic crystals.
This revelation made Zhao Hai even more curious about the mechas. He wondered if he could obtain some mechas and use crystals as power sources; would the combat power of those mechas increase?
Although the people of Atlantis Continent transformed the magic crystals into energy devices, Zhao Hai was very clear that the energy within those devices could not be stronger than the few magic crystals he had. This meant the energy devices used by Atlantis Continent were definitely weaker than the magic stones he possessed.
The magic cannons used magic crystals with limited power, yet with the crystals in his possession, they could annihilate divine-level experts. If those mechas also utilized his crystals as power sources, how great would their might be?
Zhao Hai was eager to acquire some mechas and test their power, but he knew it wasn't going to be easy.
Laura approached Zhao Hai and whispered, “Brother Hai, there’s no need to worry. The people from Atlantis Continent won't stir up much trouble. Aren't you curious about how they will fare once they reach Ark Continent? You'll see soon enough.”
