Laura smiled and said, "Great! We leveled up without going to the Jin Spirit Clan. Brother Hai, we need to plant some of the Y seeds so that Grandpa Galen and the others can level up too."

Zhao Hai nodded and immediately began to collect the demon octopuses, then started searching in this trench. Whenever he spotted a demon octopus, he collected it. In the end, Zhao Hai had collected over three hundred demon octopuses, but there were no more left in the trench.

Zhao Hai didn't think much of it; if these demon octopuses stayed in the trench, it would be too dangerous for the sea tribe. However, he noticed a problem: even though the demon realm aura was thick in this trench due to the Inner Dan, it hadn't spread outside the trench, and the magical beasts inside the trench hardly ever came out. Why was that?

While pondering this, Zhao Hai directed the blade scale whale to swim upwards. Along the way, he collected any magical beasts that changed.

Slowly, they approached the top of the trench and would soon be able to emerge. Zhao Hai and the others couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. Although they had gained significant benefits in the trench, there was not a single ray of light, and they felt extremely oppressed. Now they could finally get out.

At that moment, a sudden pressure came over them, causing Zhao Hai to freeze momentarily. He didn't understand what was happening. Where was this pressure coming from?

Zhao Hai stood still, staring at the monitor, wanting to find out what was going on. Suddenly, he noticed a surge of black energy rising beside the Soul Abyss Reef, forming a massive magic circle that exerted pressure towards the trench. Zhao Hai felt as if a mountain was pressing down on them. The blade scale whale, despite straining to swim upwards, couldn't move at all.

Zhao Hai was taken aback. After the space upgrade, these undead beings had once again leveled up, making them significantly stronger than typical ninth-level experts. The creatures from the demon realm were also incredibly powerful, and with the recent upgrade, the strength of these undead beings had increased substantially. In such circumstances, the fact that the blade scale whale could still be suppressed by this magic circle indicated that it was no ordinary formation.

Zhao Hai remained calm and slowly dove back down. As he descended, the pressure gradually disappeared, and the massive magic circle vanished.

Zhao Hai paused and turned to Laura, asking, "What just happened? Why did the magic circle appear when we went up, but disappeared as soon as we came down?"

Laura and the others frowned in confusion. At that moment, Meg suddenly said, "Young master, we were fine coming down, yet we got blocked when trying to come up. Also, those magical beasts couldn't come up either. Could it be that we carried the demon realm aura when we descended, and that magic circle specifically targets these magic-infused creatures?"

Zhao Hai was taken aback and thought carefully. She was indeed correct. When they descended, nothing happened, and he hadn't heard the sea tribe mention such a situation. Yet, none of the magical beasts in the trench had come up to disrupt them. It was very likely that, as Meg said, the magic circle specifically targeted the demon realm aura. Anything with that aura coming up would be suppressed. They had just been very close to the Inner Dan at the bottom of the trench, so it made sense they carried the demon realm aura. The moment the magic circle sensed that aura, it activated and pushed them down.

Zhao Hai looked at Meg in surprise. Usually, she hardly spoke in front of everyone and rarely expressed her opinions. Zhao Hai and the others handled everything well, and she simply needed to take care of Zhao Hai and them. He hadn't expected her to unveil the mystery today. Meg was not unintelligent; she just disliked contention. Since Zhao Hai and the others had everything under control, she never had to step forward, which is why she had always maintained a low profile. Zhao Hai realized he had underestimated her.
