CHAPTER 387: Level Up

After discussing everything with Galen and the others, Zhao Hai felt completely at ease. He believed that Galen and the others would have some preparations. In truth, there wasn't much to prepare for this time; it mainly depended on the attitude of the Karlqi Family. As long as the Karlqi Family expressed their stance, whether good or bad, Zhao Hai would have to follow through.

Zhao Hai and the others returned to Monkey Head Island. This time, even Galen came along. It was their first time seeing such an island, and it was indeed quite nice. It would be wonderful if they could establish a base on the island.

However, Zhao Hai did not plan to destroy anything on the island. This island was the territory of Little Gold and the others, where they had lived for generations. If they were to destroy the island, Little Gold and the others might find it difficult to adapt.

They needed to first learn how Little Gold and the others brewed beer on the island. After returning to Iron Mountain Fortress, they could conduct experiments. Zhao Hai believed that in the near future, they would be able to enjoy delicious beer.

Zhao Hai also had another idea: to find some unnoticed, rocky small islands to mine the stones in preparation for building houses when spring arrived.

Zhao Hai noticed that Little Gold had become very clever. No matter what he said, Little Gold could understand immediately. This was especially good for Zhao Hai, as it saved him a lot of trouble.

In fact, the brewing process for the alcohol made by Little Gold and the others was quite simple. They picked mature breadfruits, placed them in tree holes, added water, and after some time of fermentation, the result was a beer-like beverage.

Of course, there were a few things to be mindful of: first, the need for proper sealing; second, only ripe breadfruits should be used; third, the breadfruits must be placed in their shells.

This did not mean that only the shells of the breadfruits were used in the brewing process. On the contrary, the flesh of the breadfruit was the primary ingredient. However, during this process, the shells played an important role. Only by allowing them to burst open in water could the beer flavor be achieved; otherwise, what would result would just be a barrel of dirty water with green mold.

Zhao Hai did not understand why this happened, but he could only rely on this method for now. However, he hoped that the orc brewers could improve this technique to make the beer even more delicious.

The orc brewers were living quite comfortably now. Their main task every day was to brew milk wine. They didn't need to herd livestock, as they had enough food to eat, wages to earn, and milk wine to drink. Everything felt so wonderful.

In fact, orcs also appreciated peace. They liked quiet lives, but in the Orc Prairie, they had to migrate constantly for survival. Now, they could stay in one place and live the lives they wanted. Their children could receive education, and they no longer had to worry about food. Most importantly, they had enough vegetables to eat.

In the past, races like the Giant Horned Mighty Bull Tribe rarely had vegetables to eat throughout the year because they were too expensive. But now, it was different. In Iron Mountain Fortress, vegetables were cheap, and they could have as many as they wanted. Along with Blue-eyed Rabbit meat, they were not lacking in meat either. For them, this life was simply delightful.

Because of this, the orcs were grateful to Zhao Hai. Orcs were very simple; if you treated them well, they would be grateful and willing to give everything for you. Conversely, if you were their enemy, it was a straightforward life view.

So, when Zhao Hai asked those orcs to learn brewing from the monkeys, they had no objections. Instead, they were very cautious, fearing they might break something.

However, they soon realized their worries were unnecessary, as the brewing process was incredibly simple. Not only could they learn quickly, but some humans could also grasp it in no time.
