CHAPTER 295: Revenge! Revenge!

When Wells heard this, he jumped up immediately. The messenger was Bogu, and Wells rushed to Bogu and asked, “Really?”

Bogu excitedly replied, “Really! The caravan is not far from us and will be here soon!”

Wells laughed heartily and turned to run out of the tent, with Yale and Mendez following closely behind. Bogu also ran out behind them, leaving Skoni sitting there in shock, staring at the empty tent.

Skoni was taken aback by Wells and the others’ reaction. He glanced at the empty tent and muttered, “What’s there to be so happy about? It’s just a caravan, what’s so impressive about it?” After saying that, he slowly stood up and walked outside.

As soon as he stepped outside, he found Wells and the others already mounted on their steeds, galloping out of the camp. The thunderous hoofbeats startled everyone in the camp. The members of the Herculean Bull Tribe, already on edge, thought enemies were approaching, and many grabbed their weapons and rushed out after Wells.

Skoni was shocked by the commotion in the camp. He knew why Wells and the others were rushing out, but he hadn't expected such a strong reaction from the people in the camp. He had to face the reality of his clan's situation. He realized that the emotions of the tribe members were indeed quite off.

Skoni couldn’t help but freeze. He recalled Yale’s words, and he thought that among the Herculean Bull Tribe, only Yale could talk sense into him because Yale was of the same generation and a good friend. Plus, Yale had always been very smart, so Skoni listened to him. This was why he didn’t oppose what Yale said.

However, Skoni was not entirely reckless; otherwise, he wouldn’t have reached his current position. He finally recognized what was wrong in the tribe. The young people seemed like rabbits that had been shot with arrows; they would panic and run at the sound of a bowstring. This made Skoni extremely angry.

In Skoni’s view, the Herculean Bull Tribe should not fear anyone. They should be the bravest warriors on the grassland, willing to charge into battle regardless of the enemy they faced. No matter how many times they had been defeated, they needed to have the courage to charge again the next time. Clearly, the current young warriors of the Herculean Bull Tribe did not meet his expectations.

Wells, however, had no time to care about these matters. He was already aware of the situation but could not change it. Now, under Bogu’s lead, he rushed out of the camp. In the distance, he saw two flags of the orc tribe flying in the wind, and beneath those flags was a horse-drawn cart followed by a long line of wagons.

Wells laughed heartily, patted his steed, and sped up. Before long, he had reached Zhao Hai’s cart. Zhao Hai was standing on the cart, looking at Wells.

Wells jumped off his steed, opened his arms with a hearty laugh, and embraced Zhao Hai, saying, “Good guy! You really made me wait long!”

Zhao Hai smiled back, “You can’t blame me for that, but Brother, if you don’t let go, I might suffocate in your embrace!”

Wells laughed again and set Zhao Hai down on the grass. He turned to look at the supply cart behind him and asked, puzzled, “Why did you bring food with the cart?”

Zhao Hai smiled slightly and said, “Don’t you think this might be more effective? Let your tribe see that we have plenty of food.”

Wells laughed heartily and patted Zhao Hai on the shoulder, knowing that Zhao Hai did this to help stabilize the morale of the troops.

At this moment, Mendez and Yale also arrived and walked up to Zhao Hai, hugging him and laughing heartily. This scene left everyone who followed Wells behind in shock, not knowing what was happening.

Before long, Wells noticed that behind Zhao Hai’s supply cart, there were nearly ten thousand mountain goats. These goats were exchanged by Zhao Hai from King Xiqi. Zhao Hai knew that for the orcs, not having mountain goats was like the human race not having land; it made them feel uneasy. Therefore, he released these mountain goats, intending to give them to Wells.
