CHAPTER 269: Giant Horned Mighty Bull Tribe

Galen and the others were quite puzzled by the appearance of humans on the Orc Prairie, but they were unfamiliar with the situation there, so they naturally couldn't guess why those humans showed up.

Zhao Hai did not expect to get answers from Galen and the others, as they had never been to the prairie. All their knowledge about the prairie came from what he and Laura had told them. Under such circumstances, if Galen and the others could guess what the humans wanted, they might as well put on makeup and go to the orc tribe as prophets.

Early the next morning, Zhao Hai and the group continued their journey, but this time they quickened their pace. As long as they didn't encounter any orcs, Zhao Hai wanted to move faster.

He didn't come to the Orc Prairie just for these chaotic matters. Helping Wells could bring him many benefits, but what he needed more were novel magical beasts and unseen plants; these were his fundamentals.

As long as the space upgraded, everything would be easier, so Zhao Hai accelerated his pace. However, he did not retract the convoy into the space this time. After all, the ones pulling the carts were all undead beings, and he just needed to let them move a little faster.

On the prairie, there was no need to worry about the carts jolting; the thick grass, thicker than blankets, served as natural shock absorbers, so the carts wouldn't shake much. However, the horses pulling the carts required more strength, but this wasn't a problem for Zhao Hai, as those pulling the carts were undead beings.

Zhao Hai and their speed increased, but they remained very cautious, carefully observing their surroundings. To guard against any potential enemies, Zhao Hai released two blazing birds this time, using them as aerial scouts.

Of course, two blazing birds alone were not enough for him, so Zhao Hai also released many Blood Eagles for reconnaissance. The blazing birds weren't phantom beasts, and Zhao Hai found them less handy than the Blood Eagles, but they were beautiful and Laura and the others liked them, so he kept them as pets. If Wells and the others saw them, he would just say he healed their injuries.

While moving forward, Zhao Hai kept checking the map. Meanwhile, the area of the map in his space was continuously expanding, which was definitely good news for Zhao Hai. As long as he roamed more on the Orc Prairie, he might be the first person to have a complete map of the Orc Prairie.

They covered the three-day journey in just a day and a half. Upon reaching the area marked on the map as having a tribe, Zhao Hai had to slow down.

The map indicated that a small tribe of the Mighty Bull Tribe, numbering around a thousand, was active here. The Mighty Bull Tribe was famous for its strength, and their mounts were the mighty bulls. However, these bulls were a bit different from the ones raised for meat on the mainland; these were known as giant horned mighty bulls, unique creatures primarily distinguished by their enormous horns.

The horns of this magical beast resembled two large sharpened pillars, each horn nearly two meters long and up to an astonishing half meter in diameter at the thickest part. Their horns grew straight out sideways from the head, as if two large pillars were tied to the bull's head.

The giant horned mighty bulls were also well-known among the tauren tribe, famous for their charge. Although the speed of the giant horned mighty bulls might not be very fast, once they charged, it was nearly impossible to stop them, all thanks to those massive horns.

When they charged, the giant horned mighty bulls would line up in a straight line; all their horns would come together like a wall, pushing forward at a slow speed but with no gaps whatsoever.

However, this did not mean that the combat power of the giant horned mighty bull tribe was particularly strong. Their charge, while formidable, had a serious drawback; because their horns were too large, they were not very agile when turning. This made them quite disadvantaged against light cavalry like the jackal tribe.
